Feiyan "Clutter" Liu
*a girl with shoulder-length, dishelved black hair looks up at you and smiles* Hello! I'm Liu Feiyan - *corrects herself* Feiyan Liu, I mean.
*a small girl looks up from her bed and grins at you* Feiyan. Feiyan Liu. *rolls her eyes at her name* It's okay, most people can't say it. *unlike others, the girl has a practically unaccented voice, mostly because English isn't her first language and she spent a long time trying to say things in perfect English that it makes her uncomfortable to use slang*
*beams proudly* They call me Clutter. *although some don't like their nicknames, Clutter absolutely adores hers, undoubtably because it's very American* *glaces around her messy bed and laughs*? What, you can't tell? *in actuality, Clutter really isn't really all that messy a person - she mostly is because she can*
My birthday? April 8th, a little after the new year. *unconsciously believes that the new year begins in February, though if she realized what she said, she would most likely have corrected herself* I am 16 years old. *under her breath* That's already an adult, in China... *frowns slightly and looks down at the floor*
*shifts, a bit uncomfortablly* I have straight, black hair, but I cut it recently so it's pretty short. *sweep a ragged tendril away from her face, and if you look closely you can see that all of her hair isn't the same length - as if she had cut it by herself in chunks* I have slanted eyes, that are pretty dark, and I'm short. 5'1", I believe. *shrugs, and shifts once again, knowing that traditionally you aren't supposed to talk about your looks*
*eyes cloud over, but she manages a weak smile*? Nope, no personality at all.? *Clutter is normally a very cheerful person, though some think a bit too cheerful, and she's a bit too opinionated for her own good* *she can be childish, mostly because she was never allowed to act like a child at her home, and although she does have her own opinions about things, the Chinese traditions that she's been taught since she was an infant are engraved pretty solidly in her head*
*bites her lip thoughtfully* Chinatown. *pauses a second then nods* I came from Chinatown, Manhattan. *smiles brightly* But that doesn't matter anymore. I'm here, aren't I?
*laughs, glad to be off the former subject* Nope...want to be mine? *grins*
*smiles a little, though it's a bit forced* No, not right now. I'm not...old enough. *nods slightly* *when her parents tried to force her to marry the son of a family friend, she refused to, and when she was yelled at she ran away* *she's still ashamed about running away, and so she stays away from boys mostly out of respect for her parents*
*looks at her bed and laughs* I sleep.
*puts her hands in her pockets and dumps the contents onto the bed* Few pennies and a nickel...a button...an old piece of candy...and...a hair pin. *smiles* Everything a girl needs.
*bounces slightly on her bed* Nothing you ought to. *grins* Anything you want to? |
