ALL-ACCESS BATTLEFIELD TOURS
Specializing in wheelchair tours to Civil War sites in
Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania

Our goal is to make sure that visitors go where they want to go, see what they want to see, and experience what they want to experience!

Nestled on the banks of the Rappahannock River is the picturesque town of Fredericksburg, VA. Often referred to as “America's Most Historic City,” its neighboring county of Spotsylvania is known as the “Crossroads of the Civil War.” Four major battles took place in the area (Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Spotsylvania and the Wilderness) leaving behind acres of significant sites. These include the four battlefields, Ellwood, and the Stonewall Jackson Shrine. The historical district of Fredericksburg is also home to many buildings that bore witness to some of the most intense fighting of the conflict, only to rise out of the ruins following the reunification of the country.

ALL-ACCESS BATTLEFIELD TOURS were designed by wheelchair travelers, especially for wheelchair travelers who wish to fully explore and experience these hallowed grounds. Our all-accessible individual or group tours take visitors, their families and friends directly to the sites while moving at their own pace. In order to provide a safe and comfortable expedition, our visitors may be transferred to our specially outfitted rugged outdoor wheelchairs that can be pushed or manually used. These chairs, combined with portable ramps, enable our visitors to traverse fields, trails and roads that are otherwise inaccessible. Each experience includes the highest quality tours featuring our unique staff of experts, as well as handouts specific to each excursion.
