This picture was taken June 6 ,1955 when the New London Fire Dept took delivery of a new Vehicle, According to my Grandfather Pictured, it was an old hearse bought from a Funeral home and was converted by the Firemen and Gus Storace Sr. and was put into service to use for Parades.
