National Forum For The Applied Media Arts And Sciences- Who are NFAMAS?- NFAMAS- is a non-profit Media Arts Organization located in the Bronx. We provide Media Eduacation and Production Services to residents of all ages with-in under-served communities.

NFAMAS- the programs consists of special activitie, creative clubs,media production, and media technological services. We also serve as an intermediary for emerging and professional artists NFAMAS- staff, interns, and volunteers come primarily from the local community. They are trained and are enabled to perform to there fullest potential.

Other Services Production NFAMAS staff and advanced students provide a broad range of MEdia Production and Services for the local Non-profit and Business Community. Services include but are not limited to -Special Events -Video Taping -Website Production -Ad/Promotion/ Outreach -Photography Technology NFAMAS, through its independent Technology Consultunt Program and in collaboration with the Mary Mitchell Center, provides Residents of the Community with access to technology equipment and facilitites, including, 35mm still cameras projection equipment and supervised access to a modern state of the art computer lab. Other than I'l' coordination graphics Design and photography, NFAMAS also provides Hosting Services and Website Developement workshops for local community organizations and Businesses

YOUTH SERVICES- SHUTTER BUGS- (kids 7-12)- Fun and learning, Computer BAsics, Photography, Graphic Design and Videography. Kids develop knoledge of computers and their uses as they apply them in assigned projects and activities. The program also serves to cultivate their understanding of the media Industry un general. As a supplement ti the lessons taught, field trips and special events are coordinated throught out the program.

DOCUMENTARIANS--(youth ages 13-18) The Documentarians activities involve the participants use of Media Technology (Videograhy, Photography, graphic design, etc.) to conduct in-depth documentaries in history, politics, and other points of interest. They expand their knowledge of chosen subjects and the media Industry. These Activities Strengthen Participant's skills in technology as they prepare to meet the future demands of the job market.

TEENS SPORTS MEDIA CREW-(teens 13-18) Combines participants' love of "the game" with their own creativity as it is expressed using Media Technology. The program provides teens with a new perspective of the world of sports as they receive hands on experience video taping local sports events and meeting professional sports media and broadcast personnel. Teens acquire a higher awareness of what is behind the scenes of the Sports and Media Industry
