There are some memorable movie-going experiences that leave you with a feeling while walking out of the theatre that can't be described. MINORITY REPORT is one of those movies that spawns inevitable conversations with the person(s) you viewed it with about the complex situations that were not explained thoroughly enough during the film.
Cruise plays the role of John Anderton, a cop in a new technologically advanced law enforcement unit called Precrime where all murders in the area are predicted by three gifted beings called Precogs and the cops there arrest the killers before they even commit the murder, thus saving the victim from death. John is a skilled cop in Precrime and is respected by all his teammates until he is tagged to commit the next murder. He is forced to believe that there has to be a minority report involved in which the Precogs don't agree on the details of the murder so there is a glitch in their prediction. But, until he finds this minority report and about the man he is destined to kill, he is a fugitive from the law and needs to find a way to hide. Many twists and turns ensue so don't expect things to get any simpler.
This is strictly forbidden to be watched by viewers with low intelligence that just take whatever gets thrown at them and expect it to be something that requires little to no intellect to understand. So I'm telling the smart individuals to be careful though. If you analyze every scene too much, you will forget about the task at hand and that is to just watch the damn movie. In conclusion, this unique and mesmerizing thrill ride is worth your money.
