While robbing a mansion belonging to a multi-millionaire, the professional thief, Luther Whitney, is the only one to witness a sexual escapade between a man and the owner's wife that turns rough. The wife stabs the man with a letter opener before his bodyguards rush in and shoot her. It turns out that this man is the President of the United States and his bodyguards decide to protect him by covering the whole thing up and keeping it a secret from the dead woman's husband. However, when they leave the mansion, they forget the main piece of evidence, the bloody letter opener, and it is obtained by Luther. Now he must survive planned attacks on him and his daughter by vicious government officials trying to save the President at all costs.

Due to the compelling plot and the powerful message it delivers, this movie hits an easy home run. It seemed pretty lengthy when I watched it though, but that was due to the fact that I assumed several different scenes were going to be the climax until the movie continued on. The actual ending wasn't all that climactic, but it was a very well-chosen way to finish things up. The message this movie delivers is all about the truth behind government cover-ups that is sad, but still true. Very suspenseful moments along with an amazing story make this an all-around enjoyable thriller.
