LEMON PULL-APARTS
12 Rhodes rolls, thawed but still cold
2 lemon rinds, grated
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c melted butter
CITRUS GLAZE
1 c powdered sugar
1 tbsp butter, melted
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Mix grated lemon rind with sugar. Cut rolls in half and place in 12-inch deep dish pizza pan or 9x13 inch pan [can use Bundt pan] sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Pour 1/4 c melted butted over rolls. Sprinkle with lemon mixture, reserving 1/2 of the mixture to sprinkle on just before baking. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap. Let rise until double in size. Remove wrap. Sprinkle on remaining mixture. Bake at 350º 20-25 minutes. Remove immediately from pan and place on rack. Combine powdered sugar, butter and lemon juice. Mix well. Drizzle glaze over pull-aparts.
CREAM CHEESE APPLE TORTE
6 Rhodes Texas rolls, thawed and risen
1 8-oz pkg cream cheese
1/4 c sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 21-oz can apple pie filling
1/4 c sliced almonds
Press rolls into a ball. Roll dough into a 13-inch circle and place in a 12-inch deep dish pizza pan sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Mix cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla together. Spread on dough. Top with apple pie filling. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake at 350º 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
SWEET DOUGH - BREAD MACHINE
This recipe is the perfect start for rolls, cinnamon buns and Chelsea buns. Top with sweet glazes or stuffed with creamy or fruity fillings
LARGE LOAF: 3 cup or 4 cup machine

2 T butter or margarine
2 1/4 cups bread Flour
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 tsp salt

CALZONES
new twist on a traditional pizza recipe. Start with pizza sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese, and create your own personal calzone. Stuff with sliced pepperoni, mushrooms, green pepper, or if you're feeling more adventurous, hot chili peppers, shrimp, broccoli or chicken.
DOUGH - 1 1/2 cups water
2 T olive or vegetable oil
2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
4 cups Bread Flour
4 tsp bread machine yeast
FILLING - 1/2 cup seasoned pizza or pasta sauce
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup green peppers, finely chopped
1/2 cup pepperoni, sliced
1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
Add ingredients for dough to machine, use Dough Cycle. When complete, remove dough to floured surface. Cover and let rest for 5 minutes. DIVIDE dough into 8 equal portions. On floured surface, roll each portion to 6" circle. Spread 1 tbsp sauce evenly over bottom half of each round leaving a 1" border uncovered at edge. Sprinkle remaining fillings over sauce, dividing evenly. Fold dough over filling to make half-circles. Pinch or crimp edges to seal; prick tops several times with fork or sharp knife. Place on baking sheet, greased or sprinkled with cornmeal. BAKE at 400° on center rack for 25-30 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

OATMEAL BREAD 1
1 to 1 1/4 c water, milk, or veg stock, any
liquid you like
1 1/2 t salt
1 1/2 T any sweetener
1 1/2 T applesauce
1 c oatmeal (quick cooking, regular
2 1/2 c bread flour
2 t yeast
WHOLE GRAIN OATMEAL BREAD
1 1/2 Cups water
1 egg
2 Tblsp. apple butter or applesauce
1/4 Cup maple syrup
1 tsp. salt
1 Cup rolled oats
4 Cups whole grain flour (whole wheat, oat, barley, whole
wheat pastry
12-grain, etc. or a mixture of several
2 1/2 tsp. yeast
Add ingredients to your breadmaker and bake!
RYE BREAD
1 1/4 cups Water
2 cups bread Flour
1 1/2 cups Rye flour
1 T Cocoa (optional; for coloring)
1 1/2 T Caraway Seed
1/3 cup Molasses
2 t Active Dry Yeast
1 1/2 t salt
Use Basic Medium mode. Timer not recommended
OATMEAL BREAD 2
1/2 cup apple juice
3/4 cup water
2 T. honey
3 T. orange juice concentrate
1 1/2 t. salt
2 3/4 cup whole-wheat flour
3/4 cup quick oats
3 t. yeast
Mix in the order recommended by your breadmaker
LIGHT OATMEAL BREAD
1 1/4 to 1 3/8 cups water
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce
3/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats (not instant or "one
minute" oats
2 3/4 cups bread flour
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
LIGHT WHEAT BREAD
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 c warm water
2 tbsp honey
1 3/4 c whole wheat flour
1 1/2 c bread flour
1 1/2 tsp yeast
if using the bread maker for the whole cycle, bake on the
wheat bread
cycle. If using oven, put dough into a loaf pan and bake at
450 for 10
minutes, then lower oven temp to 350 and bake about 30
minutes, or
until loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
LIGHT RYE BREAD
1-pound loaf
3/4 cup water
1 1/2 tablespoons honey
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup whole wheat flour
3/4 cup bread flour
1/2 cup rye flour
2 teaspoons cornmeal
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
