My Future My Hobbies To Scott Links E-mail me Hey, my name is Kimberlie Jo Endicott. My friends call me Kimmie or Kim. My family members call me Kimmie Jo or KJ. I was born in Prineville, Oregon. It is a very small cowboy town. When I was two years old my family and I moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado. I spent my childhood years there until I was in the third grade and then we decided to move back to Oregon. Instead this time it was to beautiful Bend, Oregon. Oregon is full of outdoor things like lakes, mountains, rockclimbing, hiking, and white water rafting. There are not any malls or big rollercoaster parks, so you have to find something in the outdoors to do when you are bored. I went to High school at Bend Senior High and graduated in June 2000. I played sports through out high school and then my last year I decided to take a trip to Oaxaca Mexico to live for one month and study Spanish.
It was an exchanged program and I went to school during the week and then on the weekends I went to the beach or to the Myan ruins. I will never forget that trip. I made many friends through those years and have really only kept two special ones. They are Julie Lemke and Carson Widmer. The rest of my so called “friends” have decided to not keep in touch.
My best friend Julie is now engaged. I stayed around for a year to work and save money. My first job was at Bend Urology Associates. I worked in medical records and was very busy. I love working for nice doctors. I then worked at the River House Resort. Big mistake. I hated every moment of it. After the bad experience I was offered a baking job at Broken Top Restaurant. I loved it and I ran the show as the assistant baker. I then enrolled into The Culinary Institute of America to get my Associates degree in Baking and Pastry Arts. I couldn’t ask for more than going to class to make four tier wedding cakes, croissants, brioche, artisan breads, truffles, and pulled sugar pieces. Homework was to pipe and practice roses for my cakes and practice writing with chocolate. I am now going for my Bachelors degree at the CIA. It is much different than the associates program. I sit in a classroom all day and listen to my professors lecture. It is hard because I am used to being on my feet all day and running around the kitchens like crazy making yummy desserts. Boys have come and gone in my life and I was about to give up on even dating until I met my very special boyfriend Scott. He is every girls dream boyfriend. He cares about me and who I am. He accepts me for me, and does not question why I do the things I do. I love spending every moment with him and cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with him.
