Welcome to Inspiration for the Soul, a ministry that God put on my heart to share with you. This ministry grew out of my life experiences while living in Los Angeles between 1996 & 1998. I went to California with my own plan but God had a very different plan for my life. I moved to California to continue my career in TV and become a “Star.” God did bless me with some success in TV land; however, he had so much more in store beyond that point. When I returned to NY, I began to write and share with other’s the many trials and tribulations he brought me out of. I wrote one article, then another article, and so on and so on. Then God sent a beautiful sister by the name of Michele Johnson into my life. She is the owner of a site called sisterfriends. Michele found great encouragement and inspiration through my comments and interactions on the list-serve and so she gave me my own inspiration page to contribute my writings to each month. Since 1998, the word began to spread and people from all over the world are being blessed as a result. To date, Michele and I have not met face to face (she lives in Los Angeles – go figure ) but our hearts and spirit are definitely connected.
Who Am I? You may ask. I am Edith Yvonne CeCelia Chase, a servant of God. A woman after God’s own heart. A woman who desires to be more like Jesus everyday. God has been so real in my life that I would literally burst with excitement if I couldn’t share his awesome power with you. I want you to experience that awesome power for yourself.
As you read the articles, my prayer is that you would be confronted, challenged and changed by the power of the Holy Spirit. I hope you come away from these articles with a stronger desire to read his word, develop and enhance your prayer life so that he can use your life for his glory.
