*Amys POV*
I had been in Waldof, Maryland for a weekend already and I was already bored. Their were no people of my age apart from the Madden family I didden't know their names but their were twins, a daughter, a son and parents.
I lay on my bed staring at the ceiling thinking about my past life in England we had moved to America due to Dads new business.
"Amy!" I heard my mum yell, I jumped up and ran to the top of the stairs
"Yes mum?"
"Were going round to the Madden house, they invited us round, Go put some nice clothes on," Mum said
"Ok!" I ran off into my room and went to my wardrobe which was coverd in pictures of random bands/singers. I took out my tarten skirt, fishnet tights and black 'Freak' tee. I fixed my hair into pigtails and put a bit of eyeliner and eye shadow on adjusted my lip ring and made my way downstairs.
"You look nice love," stated my mum "Dad can't come round because he has to go back to work. Come on lets go." Personally I didden't want to go I hated it here I wanted to be back in England with my friends.
We walked to their door it was painted black with the house number on a boy answerd the door who looked the same age as me and was quite cute!
"Hey, MOM! THE NEIGHBOURS ARE HERE!" he yelled "Come in," he said to us when I stepped inside their was another one of him I kinda gatherd they were the twins. A woman who looked quite pale walked down the stairs holding a smaller girls hand she looked younger then the twins.
"Hello Mrs.Kenney, As you know I'm Miss.Madden and theirs are my children Joel, Benji and Sarah we have another son who has moved out" Joel was the boys name who answerd the door we kept smiling at each other
"Hey, Im Amy" I said
*Joels POV*
Amy, whoa shes nice. Her brown curlyish hair and blue eyes were really pretty.
"Want to come upstairs with us Amy?" Benji asked her
"Yeah" We left my mom and her 'mum' to talk and we all walked upstairs and took her into mine and Benji's room we let Sarah come in aswell.
"Nice room you have here," she said with a cute smile on her face
"Yeah, Sorry its a mess" I giggled I was becoming nervious
"Sit down if ya' like!" said Benji She sat down on the edge of my bed Sarah sat next to her.
"Soooo....What school do you guys go to?" she asked
"La Plata High School" replied Benj
"Hey! Im going to that school!" exclaimed Amy
"Cool!" they both replied
*Amys POV* Gosh Joels hot! Did I just say gosh? Oh god! Were going to the same school which means I could be in his classes! Yay! Their was a silence between us all until Sarah broke it
"Amy?" she asked me bless she was so sweet
"Yeah?" I answerd
"Your pretty, You could even be Joel or Benjis girlfriend!" I started to go a light shade of red We all giggled. We were sat their talking about rubbish Joel and I kept looking at each other and such.
"Amy, Were going home!" I heard my mother yell
"Ok!" I yelled back
"Cya Amy" they all said
"Bye" I said and waved
I started walking out of the door then suddenly I heard Joel shout
"Wait! Amy, Wanna hang round with us at school?"
"Yeah! Sure!" I replied my heart was beating faster and faster by the minute
"Ok, We'll find you somewhere at school, Bye!" said Benji. I ran down to were my mum was stood
"Bye Miss.Madden" we both said I started walking out of the door then I looked up to Benji and Joels bedroom window to see Sarah waving, I gave a little wave back.
"Their loverly people, aren't they?" My mum said
"Yeah, Im going round with the twins at school" Mum smiled and we both walked into the house.
*Joels POV*
"Shes hot!" I said to Benji
"Yeah....You don't have a crush on her...do you?" he asked me
I didden't tell him the truth and just said "No!"
*The Next Morning*
I woke up the next morning early because it was monday which ment school which ment Amy. I went into the bathroom and had a shower. When I was dry I put on my black dickies and black shirt and put my hair in its useuall style. Then Benji woke up.
"Mornin' bro" I said to him
"Your up earlier then usuall...CRAP I NEED TO GET READY!" Benji realised it was 15 mins' before school started he rushed on his black dickies and a rancid shirt we both ran off to school. We finally arrived at school and rushed off to our lockers, got our stuff out and ran to our homeroom
"Late again boys!" stated Mrs Butterworth
"Sorry Miss" we both said and went to our seats.
*Amys POV*
I walked down the halls of La Plata High School with my baggy denim pants dragging across the floor and my rancid tee looking astho it haddent been ironed, I walked with the school princable, Mr. Gilmore he showed me to my homeroom and when I got in their to my surprise their sat Benji and Joel!
"Welcome to your homeroom, Im Mrs.Butterworth" stated a oldish looking lady with white hair
"Hey" I replied
"Amy! Amy! Amy!" I heard Benji whispering to me trying to get my attention
"Sit anywhere Amy" said Mrs.Butterworth Benji and Joel were doing actions to make me sit with them I sat next to Joel
"Hey Girl!" said Benji A popular guy walked up to me with a barbie doll of a girlfriend holding his hand
"Oviously your another freek, Whats your surname?" the tallish guy with blound hair and a football team jacket on
"Kenney" I replied
"So...The Madden Freeks and Kenney" the barbie doll said I just smiled in a sarcastic way they both walked off
"Ignore him, hes a jerk!" said Joel
*Lunch Time*
Joel offerd to carry my books, I could tell he was hinting something and we kept flirting real bad
"Billy! Paul! Hey bros!" I heard Benji yell to two boys who were walking towards us One of the guys had chin lenght hair and was skinny and tall and the other had shourt blound hair and was quite chubby and small.
"Hey, Benji, Joel, Girl" said the tall one
"Its Amy and Hey"
"Hey, Im Billy and thats Paul" Billy was interducing me to the guys
"Hey" said Paul
"Guys, This is our next door neighbour Amy. Shes just moved here from England!" said Joel
"Amy, This is Billy and Paul who are in a band with us" stated Benji
"Band as in...music band?" I asked
"Yeah, Its called 'Good Charlotte' You can come to watch us practice if you like" said Paul
"Yeah, When?" I was getting closer and closer to dating Joel
"Tonight at our house" replied Joel
"Cool!"
*That night after school*
I kept on what I wore to school but just topped my makeup up. I went downstairs said "Bye" to my mum and went round to the Madden house I knocked on the door.
"Hey Amy! Come in," said Miss.Madden
"Are you here for Benji and Joels band practice?" she asked me
"Yeah" I replied she showed me down to the basement were I saw Billy, Paul and Benji rockin' on their instruments
"Hey Amz" said Benji
"Amz....Thats a new one" I laughed
"Wheres Joel?" asked Paul
"Hes getting ready to impre....." Benji stopped before he said too much I knew what he was going to say. I heard someone walking down the stairs leading to the room we were in it was Joel he was wearing some navy blue dickies and the same black shirt he wore to school he looked hot!
"Hiya Joel" I said
"Hey" he replied
*Joels POV*
She was lookin' good! I walked up to the mic she sat down on top of the old kitchen table and began to look at the floor.
"Lets start with Little Things" recomended Benji I began to sing the lyrics to Little Things (You should all know them) I could tell Amy was liking our band after I finished Amy said
"Joel...Your voice...Its great!"
"Thanks!" I replied
"I used to want to be in a band...I don't personally think Im good..." she said
"Well show us something then" said Paul
"Yeah...I have a good thing you could show" Benji said sarcasticly
"Benji!" she yelled in a joking tone, Benj just laughed.
