March 11th
Jina's chemo seemed to have been helping her in the 3 months that had passed. She occasionally got sick but that was from the medication and chemo but other then that she was doing good Jina, Joel, Ashley, Billy,Heather, and Benji were all sitting in the Maddens livingroom. It was Benji and Joels birthday along with Jina's. The 3 birthday kids sat on the couch.
"I want to open my presents first", Benji whined like a baby looking down at everyone who was sitting on the floor.
"Okay Benji baby this is for you", Heather stated giving him a small blue bag of random things.
" Lets see what do we got here", he stated pulling a card out.
" Dearest Benjaman, I heart you with all of my heart remember the perverted stuff comes before the good present",he read aloud. Benji looked into the bag and dug through.
" A condom, hmm flavored", he held up the condom to show everyone.
"Is that implying something Heather?", Ashley questioned her she was sitting on a blue chair.
" Yeah definilty prom night hello", Heather smirked. Benji gave her a sexy grin. Benji finally got to the bottom of the bag. He pulled out a little box. He opened it and it revealed a white guitar pic on a gold chain with their names and date that they first met on it. Benji's eyes grew wide. Heather placed her hands over her mouth looking as if she was going to cry.
" Awww Heather baby get up here", he stated looking at her. She got up and jumped on his lap. She helped him put the necklace on and stayed on his lap.
"Awww guys", Billy stated smiling at them. Benji opened the rest of his presents and everyone else did too. Jina got a Joel a few cds and a friendship ring that each of them could wear.
"Joel you didn't get anything for Jina", Heather stated pointing that out.
" Yeah Joel where's my gift?", she questioned looking at him suspisiously. Joel didn't say a word he grabbed her hand and dragged her up to his room.
"Is he gonna have sex with her or something?",Ashley laughed. They all laughed.
"Lets go listen",they all stated quietly walking up the stairs and all hanging out by the closed door.
Jina was sitting on Joels bed as he went through his underwear draw. He brought out a small box and brought it over to her.
"It's not the greatest present, but hold on dont open it yet I have to get your other present", he told her. He grabbed a medium sized box and held onto it as he sat next to her.
" Open this one", he stated taking the small one from her and giving her the medium sized one. Jina opened it up to what looked like a jewlery box. She opened the box up to see concert tickets.
" OH MY GOD JOEL GREENDAY TICKETS! AND BACKSTAGE PASSES!!!!",Jina yelled with a giant smile on her face. Tears began to form in her eyes. "How did you pull this off?", she questioned.
" You know that place that we play at.. that club well they are doing a little show and I got us tickets and backstage passes for free, cuz I know how much your such a big Greenday fan and Billy Joe", he smirked.
"Before I give you a hug whats in that box", she stated eyeing the little box. Joel shyly handed her the box. She opened it and looked at the small blue box. She lifted it up to see a heart shapped silver locket. She looked up at him.
"Open the locket", he told her. She picked up the locket and opened it up to see a picture of her and him when they first met on the Joel and Benji's swing set.
"Aw Joel I wish we could go back in time so that things would be different and when everything was no worries and I didn't have this f*cking problem I was nornal then Joel", Jina choked on her words as she broke down into tears.
"Jina don't cry, you are normal", he stated he took the locket from her and put it around her neck and took her into a hug.
"Alright guys this doesn't feel right",Billy stated looking around at everyone.
"Yeah",Ashley stated. They all walked back downstairs and got ready for a hot game of Twister. Benji began to set it up. Paul arrived as they were setting up Twister and offered to spin the spinner.
" Okay right foot on red", he stated. The game was getting intense and Benji,Billy,and Ashley were left. Heather had gotten out she was trying to make Benji fall so that Ashley and Billy could be left on the board together. Heather finally pushed Benji over and he was out.
"Alright you guys left hand on blue", Paul stated with a giant smirk on his face looking at the two trying to stand strong. They both ended up putting their hands on the same blue and Ashley rolled over onto Billy.

"Joel your crying", Jina pulled away from Joel to see tears running down his face. "Joel you dont normally cry", she stated touching his face.
"It's because I love you Jina, I dont want to lose you", he told her. This made her cry a little more.
"I dont want to die Joel, im even more scared as time goes on, and being without my best friend I can't handle it Joel",this was the first time since she found out that she had actually broke down. She didn't realize until just then how much it would hurt Joel to see her go. She layed down on her stomach on his bed crying into his pillow. He crawled to the other side of her and layed down next to her with his arm around her. She moved closer to him not wanting to leave the comfort of Joels warm body.

"Guys games over", Paul stated looking at the two who were sitting there staring at each other. Ashley was breathing heavily and Billy just froze. Ashley rolled off of Billy and looked up at the ceiling. Heather walked over to her and grabbed her.
"You like him dont you", Heather stated whispering in her ear.
"He's a f*cking fag look at him", Ashley responded. Billy looked over at her and got up and walked out of the room and slammed the bathroom door.
"Now you've done it Ash", Benji stated.
" Come with Paul we have to get the child out of the bathroom", Benji stated.
"Billy stop being a chick and get out here", Benji called. Billy opened the door and looked at them.
"It's the f*cking hair isn't it, Im a fag okay", Billy stated he was a little hurt by the comment.
Heather pushed Ashley into the hallway by the bathroom. She had tears running down her face. Benji and Paul turned around and looked at them. They both walked away to let them talk.
"Why are you crying?", Billy stated angrily. Ashley shrugged her shouldures. Billy rolled his eyes and just brought her into a hug. Ashley took a deep breath as she was up against his chest. She breathed in his cologne and hugged him back.
