January 2003
Joel waited impatiently at the airport for Jina to come home. She got finnished with school that January and was coming back home to Maryland because she hadn't found a job recently in Cali and she wasn't feeling that great so she wanted to be back home. Joel looked down at his black converses he couldn't wait to see her. He was leaving the next day to go over sea's and he had to spend every moment of the day with her. He hadn't seen her basically all summer and all of the past few years being that he had been on tour with Good Charlotte and they recently hit big with their single life styles of the rich and the famous.
"Hey",a soft voice stated from in front of him. He looked up to see a plae tired and sickly looking Jina. She had lost so much weight over the years and looked like a stick.
"Hey Baby",he stated with a smile. He hated seeing her like this he just wish she'd get better. Joel got up and lightly hugged her trying not to hurt her.
"I think I need my wheel chair...",she stated closing her eyes. Right next to the bags that lay on the floor next to her was a folded up wheel chair that she traveled with just in case she was feeling weak. Joel quickly opened it up and helped her in it. He grabed her bags as well and they headed towards his car. Jina was silent on the ride home as Joel pulled up to Joel and Benji's new house where they stayed without their mom. She looked up to see everyone running out of the house to great her this brought a smile on her face. Everyone looked a little different Jina had seen them over the summer but they had a little changes to them and definitly big changes since she moved back. Joel helped her out and put her in her wheel chair again.
"Hey guys",Jina stated looking at them.
"Hey sweeti how you feel'n?", Benji asked.
"Okay",she let out a weak smile.
"Jina!",Ashley stated as she hugged Jina Heather was right behind her and hugged her too. They all went inside and were remembering the good old times. Joel took Jina and Ashley back to the house a few hours later. Ashley ran inside to give Joel and Jina some alone time.
"Here you need help?", Joel questioned as he ran around to the other side of the car.
"I got it", she stated standing on her weak legs. Joel held out his hands as she fell into his arms. It was so cold they could see their breath.
"Lets go up to your room and talk", Joel told her. Jina got inside and said hi to her Aunt and then her and Joel walked upstairs to Jina's room. Sitting down on her bed she looked over at Joel who didn't look like he knew what he wanted to say.
"Why are you so f*cking good to me Joel, I dont deserve this I think my time is coming really soon and I..", Jina began to break down. Joel looked into her hazel eyes and took her into his arms.
"Baby dont say that you still got plenty of time to live", he reassured her knowing it wasn't true but he wanted to keep telling himself that it was true. He couldn't lose her he didn't want to because he didn't want to love someone else not get married with anyone except Jina. Joel looked at her.
"Jina?",Joel questioned.
"Yeah?",she looked up into his brown eyes. He took out a box from his pocket and gave it to her.
"Joel what is this?", she questioned. She opened it to see a ring it was beautiful and their brithstone was the big aqua marine diamond in the middle.
"Since Im leaving and I wont see you for a while, it's a promise ring so that I know that you are mine and I can never lose you and I want you to be mine forever.... until we get old",Joel began to tear up.
"Im not going to grow old with you Joel, I'd love that we'd have such great kids and grandkids but Im not gonna live to see our birthday I know Im not I feel my body shutting down after no chemo for a few years it does that to you",she stated.
"What about my bone marrow, I killed you didn't I Jina, Im killing you inside of you what I gave you is killing you Im soo sorry",Joel looked at her as he broke down as well. Jina had never heard Joel cry as much as he was right that moment. The moment where he thought he was killing her how could he believe something so dumb.
"Joel sweeti please no dont say that you didn't kill me it worked it kept me here so much longer than it would have if you never gave it to me. Like we said...", Joel couldn't bare to look at her. She took her hand and lifted his chin.
"You will always be apart of me now, God will keep you protected becuase you, you kept me going, you kept me living as long as I could and thanks to you Im still here! Joel I love you. Your my life and one day we will be together again and we can get married in Heaven, baby dont cry please",Jina pleaded as more tears fell from both of their eyes.
"I love you", was all he could say. Jina sat on Joels lap and he held her like a baby. He kissed her and the kiss was like a shock to Jina's lips she had never felt it that strong before. He layed her down and layed down next to her with his arm around her. They faced each other and held each other. Joel didn't leave her side the whole night.

"Jina?",Joel stated the next morning she wasn't moving.
"JINA????", he screamed. Ashley didn't sleep in that room that night so he was alone with Jina.
"JINA ARE YOU ALIVE JINA JINA JINA JINA!", his voice cracked as Ashley entered the bedroom. She ran over to Jina and Joel as tears poured out of her eyes.
"OMG MOM! JINA'S GONE!", Ashley cried as he mom entered the room to see Joel holding Jina and kissing her cold head.

The funeral was on a cold and wet day in Waldorph they postponed a few tour dates because they knew that Joel needed to be there. Benji held Heather tight in his arms as she broke down. Joel was crying like a baby in his moms arms and Ashley and her mom and Billy. Paul kept it strong and was really good about it.
"Wait! before everyone leaves I have something to say",Joel stated as he stood up by the coffin.
"I loved this girl with all of my heart she was my best friend ever since she moved next door to me we've connected in a way that ive never connected with anyone before. Jina was a great girl and I helped her live, I gave her my life. Jina we love you", he looked up to the sky as a tear fell down his face. Benji went up to his brother and gave him a hug as his brother cried.
"Come on man lets go home, you need some rest", Benji grabbed his brother and brought him home.
Epilogue
"HEY WALDORPH WHATS UP! WE'RE GOOD CHARLOTTE AND WE WANNA KNOW IF YOU'VE HAD FUN TONIGHT?",Joel questioned as he walked back and forth looking though the crowd.
"I really wish I sang the song I'd do anything", Joel laughed.
"Because a very special person passed away in my life this past January and that song makes me think of her becuase I'd do anything to hold her in my arms again. But the appropriate GC song for this moment excuse me",he stated as he held his arm up to his face stopping himself from crying. The audience was silent.
"This song we're gonna do acustic it's called Seasons it's appropriate because I just want 1 more night with this girl. Jina if your watching from where you are I love you girl",Joel stated as he let his fans see him shed a tear. Billy and Paul left the stage as the brothers played their acustic version of Seasons.
