On Monday 10th June, EEMA will hold five pre-conference half-day seminars
provided by industry experts, designed to guide participants in the practical
application of the latest developments in Electronic Commerce.
The five subjects will be repeated in the afternoon such that each delegate has
the opportunity to attend two different seminars.
Seminar 1 - ELECTRONIC COMMERCE
This seminar will give an executive level briefing on the current status of
Electronic Commerce in Europe.

Seminar 2a - DIRECTORIES (morning only)
This seminar will focus on two areas, briefly on the issues that arise when
implementing a directory and secondly the role and application of the

Seminar 2b - DIRECTORIES - Top Level Naming in Europe (afternoon only)

Seminar 3 - SECURITY ASPECTS OF MESSAGING

This seminar is for Telecommunications Managers who want to put mobile
technology to work in their organisations. An Introduction to Mobile
Messaging, Technical Solutions and Security issues, Application examples and
demos and cost/benefit analysis.
Seminar 5 - MESSAGING ON THE INTERNET
This seminar will feature three major applications of the Interenet: the
World Wide Web, E-mail and News Groups.
