For Satanists who have suffered or witnessed real child abuse or domestic violence

The "Satanic Ritual Abuse" (SRA) scare has turned out to be mostly bogus. But child abuse (including child sex abuse) and domestic violence are still real crimes. And the Satanist scene is not immune.Unfortunately, if you're a Satanist, finding help and advice can be difficult. Most support groups are run by Christians and are unlikely to be very kindly disposed toward Satanists.
So far, the only Satanist-friendly groups I'm aware of are the following:
- Darkness Against Child Abuse and Darkness Against Domestic Violence, both of which are run by and for goths, Pagans, and Satanists. They are part of an unbrella group called Shelter for Darkness, which has an email group on Yahoo.
- Pagans and Others who are Abuse Survivors (POAS) and its Yahoo group. Welcomes Pagans of all kinds, including both LHPers and RHPers. Also welcomes people of all other religions, "but the inspirational content will be of a Pagan flavor." (The owner of the POAS site and forum has also published a friendly interview with a Satanist in her webzine Sol-Soul Visions.)
