Rectified A Download Issue
With Comet Cursors

Our Support Staff has received of late a few email transmissions about the download prompt that people would get when opening any of our pages. What was happening was everytime a page was opened with Interner Explorer, they were prompted to download "Comet Cursors", which we have on all our pages.

After a few phone calls were made by our support staff and and email was sent, we have rectified the situation.

Below is the transmission detailing the
"So Called" problem and the resolution.

Official Norad Tracking Station

We have of late been getting numerous requests on what the address is for the Santa Tracking Station so all the children, young and old alike can track the "Big Guy's" every move on Christmas eve. The below graphic will take you to the official Norad Santa Tracking Station so you can see where Jolly Old St. Nick is on Christmas eve.

Since we designed the above graphic, it is only right to give credit to the sites and images we used in this creation. The Radar Dish is from the Norad site itself that it is linked. The Santa Claus graphic is compliments of;

X-mas Clip Art

This is really a beautiful clip art site that is worth your while to check out. They have some very different and unique graphics that are not copyright© and are free for downloading.

We Have Been Asked

A college professor who teaches computer programming has asked us for a good Web Developer's Resource that he can refer to for beginners as well as masters and programmers for reference in his classes. What we have used as a really great guide for all the above is "Web Monkey". It is a constant source of boundless information that relates to the "Newbie" as well as the Master & Programmer. We wanted to pass this site along to any and all who have never used it.

Tips and Tricks

Each week we add a little tip to assist you in your web building. Some of the things you already know and sometimes you will come across a thing or two that you wanted but did not know where to find it. This week we will feature
"Forms as Hyperlinks"

Here is a great way to use form buttons as links to your pages, while at the same time making sure everyone can use them! This is far more browser friendly than using Javascript, so you will know that everyone can use it.

<form method="submit" action="link"><input type="submit" value="Text"></form>

Replace "link" with the URL you want others to go to. This may be your homepage, a friend's page, or a famous website you want people to visit. It doesn't matter! The button can be as simple as "Click Here" or as descriptive as "Press Now to go to mysite.com". You can do this by changing "Text" with any word or phrase you wish to type that you think will invite others to click on the button. It's your choice, experiment with it!

As always, if we have our little tip published here, it is also on our website under;

Little Tips

The Consigliere's™ Top Question

Every week we receive 100's of different questions on Web Design, Security, Email, Internet etc. There is always one question that sticks out more than the rest. So What we have decided to do is post the top question of the week and show you how we answer it. If you feel you would like to add to the answer feel free to contact us with your input on the question.

Question
Over time I have noticed all the graphics you have designed within your site. I am wondering how and what programs you use to get the effects you have on your designed graphics? I am really interested in learning how to start to design my own graphics and don't know where to begin.

Signed:
     Howto In Hawaii

Well, "Howto", we have designed a section on this just for your question and what programs we use to achieve the effects we do on most of our graphics. The section is a step by step tutorial that is very easy to follow. Since we just designed the "Norad Tracking Station" graphic, this is what we are using for an example. Just follow the below link and your question shall be answered.

How We Design Our Graphics

Test Your Knbowledge

Each week, we will pose a different question to all our readers and see how it is answered. The questions will be in a forum that you can link to from here. The following week, you will see the answers and a new question. These questions will pertain to web designing, computers,internet, security, etc.

Test Your Knowledge

Well, it appears that no one knew the answer to last weeks question. We will leave it unanswered for one more week. We do want to thank The Pit Boss™ for answering our question on "Font Commands".

This week the question will pertain to

"Differences In GIF And JPEG Files"
