Just fill in the blanks, select the different options and then select "Preview Message". Once you do, keep selecting "OK" and follow the instructions for getting alert code you have made.

This script can produce a Visual Basic script to create Message alert boxes with different buttons and icons! This is an Alert Box Pop Up that opens automatically upon page load. You get to select the icon, the message and title of pop up alert box.

We have tested the generator and code it generates in IE6, Netscape4.08, Netscape7.0, Netscape8.1, Firefox1.5.0.6, Opera9.01 and AOL Explorer1.2 . The generator and code generated worked well in IE6 and AOL Explorer1.2 only. All other platforms neither the generator nor the code will work.

  1.    The generated script does degrade well and you will not get any error message.
  2.    You will just not get the alert message to appear.
  3.    The generator itself will not function or appear correctly depending on which version of Netscape you are viewing it with.

Depending on your knowledge of HTML and java scripts, this is an easy, four (4) part copy and paste code with "No" reconfigurations except to change the path for your uploaded images (4).

  1. Copy/Cut & Paste the coding into the <HEAD> section of your HTML document.
  2. Add the onLoad event handler directly into the <BODY> tag.
  3. Copy/Cut & paste the coding anywhere into the <BODY> section of your HTML document you want the effect to appear.
  4. Upload four (4) images.
