Cadence Farm offers Thoroughbreds to the PA, or pedigree assigners. Cadence Farm is a breeding/racing facility in the heart of Albany, New York, with over 1,000 acres used for the stallions, broodmares, race age horses, yearlings and weanlings. 450 of those 1,000 acres are occupied by Cadence Farms' new broodmares, as well as the veteran broodmares. 100 acres are used for the yearlings and weanlings, who are the future stars of Cadence Farm. 300 acres are then used for our prized stud stallions, who all have separate paddocks. Last, but certainly not least, we have 150 acres for our beloved race age horses. These horses do not have as much space in their paddocks as the other horses due to the fact that we must be careful that they don't injure themselves. We also have four separate barns. They are as follows: the stallion barn, the broodmare barn, the yearling and weanling barn, and the race age horses barn. Each barn has about 50 stalls. Each stall is like a hotel room for each horse occuping the stall, giving them plenty of room to walk around and to lay down and stretch. Our breeding facility is top class, and much care goes into our work. We have an indoor/outdoor training track. The indoor training track is 2 miles, dirt and turf. The outdoor training track however, is about 1 mile and a 1/2 of dirt and 1 mile of turf. That way the yearlings and race age horses can workout during all types of weather.
