In order to keep the day fun filled and safe,please be mindful of the following safety considerations:

  1. Drink plenty of water the day before and the morning of the run/walk. Water will be available to you at the start and at the 1 and 2 mile marks - volunteers will be passing it to you.
  2. The use of strollers is only permitted at the rear of the 2 Mile Walk.
  3. The use of headsets, in-line skates, and the walking of pets is prohibited.
  4. Walkers please stay clear of runners and let them pass.
  5. Follow the directions of run officials and volunteers - they may ask you to stay to the right or left.
  6. Remember the importance of warm up and cool down excercises.
  7. An ambulance and emergency technicians will be available to help with medical needs.
  8. Feel free to shout words of encouragement to other runners. Also thank volunteers along the way.
  9. Be sure to keep your number on or handy after the race - it is your ticket to the barbecue.
  10. Have a great time!
