| In order to keep the day fun filled and safe,please be mindful of the following safety considerations: - Drink plenty of water the day before and the morning of the run/walk. Water will be available to you at the start and at the 1 and 2 mile marks - volunteers will be passing it to you.
- The use of strollers is only permitted at the rear of the 2 Mile Walk.
- The use of headsets, in-line skates, and the walking of pets is prohibited.
- Walkers please stay clear of runners and let them pass.
- Follow the directions of run officials and volunteers - they may ask you to stay to the right or left.
- Remember the importance of warm up and cool down excercises.
- An ambulance and emergency technicians will be available to help with medical needs.
- Feel free to shout words of encouragement to other runners. Also thank volunteers along the way.
- Be sure to keep your number on or handy after the race - it is your ticket to the barbecue.
