The 2005 Run of the billy mead ALS 5k Run for Research was held on Sunday, August 7, 2005 along the beautiful shores of Lake Erie in Dunkirk, New York.

A portion of the proceeds from the billy mead ALS 5k Run for Research are donated to Project A.L.S. to fund the research of a cure for ALS (Lou Gherig's Disease). The other portion of the proceeds are recycled back into the Western New York Community to help those living with ALS.
