Chid is the prince of Freid and Millerna's nephew. He is the heir of the country's leader, but not his son. Chid's biological father is Allen Schezar, the brave knight his mother always told him stories about. He hero-worships Allen, not knowing that that's his actual father. He was raised by his mother's husband, who, though rather stern, loved him like his own son. Once his father died, he was forced to take on the responsibility of ruling his country. At five years old, he is an extremely precocious child and extremely adorable. He is brave and trustworthy and very fair. He becomes close with Hitomi, whom he reminds a lot of Van. He never does find out that Allen's his dad, not in the series anyway, but he has enough things to worry about.
