The culture of the ancient romans is something that has always facinated me. When I look at the carved statues of their emperors from long ago I always wonder what it was like for them to walk through the streets of Rome, entertain friends, or go to school. What did they think about? What was the course of a normal day like? What types of entertainment did they enjoy? All this and more I hope to answer. The way Romans did things depended greatly apon the era, but I will try to give a gerneralization instead of going into the finer details so it will be easier to understand. This website will have three parts to it. The first part will lay down the setting that the ancient Romans lived in. The second will be a description of the events that would occur in a typical day. The third will be more of the customs that gave life in Rome it's structure.
