Altamonte formed in November of 2004, when frontman/guitarist James Cashman decided to leave his band Rehab (New Future Records). With him he took drummer Bill Zaccheo and incorporated his Brother Sean on bass. With catchy riffs and memorable melodies and lyrics, Altamonte blends their love for Zeppelin-esque hard rock with a mixture of 1970's punk and New Wave. Both James and Bill are seasoned musicians and have been in several magazines like GoodTimes and Aural Fix, and have entertained many with their talents. Sean Cashman is known for his insane talents on guitar, bass and drums. He adds a powerful rythm to an already awesome band. The band has also recorded an E.P with engineer Nic Hard who also works with The Bravery. Nic is completely awesome and creative and he can be reached at nichard.com. The recording took place at The Carriage House in Connecticut. In late August, the band added Nick Mattiace into the lineup to play rythm guitar.
