Building Structures in Game

Alchemy Lab

You can pay 20 gold to have a private Alchemy Lab constructed. You must have the permission of the King to do this in the form of building permit. This intinal lab counts as a as a Level 1 Lab. It takes 1 month for a lab to be built and additional month for each level you wish to add to the lab. You can have sleeping quarters for 1 person. You can hire guards which cost 5 silver a month You may also have your lab locked. 1 gold will grant you a lock which can be picked. 5 gold will grant you a lock which cannot be picked. The door on the alchemy lab is a light door which can sustain 100 points of damage. This door can be upgraded to a medium door for 4 gold. A medium door can sustain 500 points of damage. For 10 gold you can upgrade a light or medium door to a heavy door which can sustain 1000 points of damage. If you are not in your lab you must be carrying the key with you. You may store your items in your lab as well. Each additional level added will cost 10 gold. The location of your lab is public.

Level 1: You can make stack 1-7 alchemy.
Level 2: You can make stack 8 alchemy.
Level 3: You can do high alchemy.

Guild Hall

In order to build a guild hall you must submit a charter for your guild to the King. He then will issue you a Building Permit. Building a Guildhall costs 30 gold. Once built the hall grants you the ability to store your in game items there, as well as have a private message forum. The guildhall can house 4 people. For 2 gold you can increase the amount of people that the hall can house by 4. You can hire guards which cost 5 silver a month. You may also have your Guildhall locked. 1 gold will grant you a each.lock which can be picked. 5 gold will grant you a lock which cannot be picked. The door on the Guildhall is a medium door which can sustain 500 points of damage. This door can be upgraded to a heavy door for 10 gold. A heavy door can sustain 1000 points of damage. If you are not in your guildhall you must be carrying the key with you. You may store your items in your Guildhall as well. The location of your guildhall is public.

Estate

You must have a Building Permit in order to construct an estate. Initally building the estate costs 50 gold this is a level 1 estate. This takes 1 month. You may then have 2 more levels built on for 10 gold a piece. You are allowed to have your own laws for your estate, as long as your laws do not conflict with the laws of Addercrest. You may also hire guards for 5 silver a piece. You may have your estated locked. for 1 gold you get a lock which can be picked, for 5 gold you get a lock which cannot be picked. The gate for your estate is a light door. A light door can sustain 100 points of damage. It can be upgraded to a medium door for 4 gold. A medium door can sustain 500 points of damage. A light or medium door can be upgraded for 10 gold. The main door for your estate is a medium door which can be upgraded to a heavy door for 10 gold. The 1st Level of the estate grants you housing for 8 people. for 2 gold you can increase the amount of people you can house by 4.

Level 1: Grants you a private message forum and a place to stash your gold and items.
Level 2: Farming operations are started on your estate. Farming operations grant you 2 gold a month as well as 6 alchemy components.
Level 3: Mining Operations are started on your estate. Mining Operations grant you 4 gold a month as well as 6 weapon or armor components.

At any time you can expand your mining or Farming operations for 2 gold. This does not grant you additional funds but does grant you 10 alchemy components, or 10 weapon/armor components depending on which operation you upgrade. Each event you must pay a 1 gold upkeep cost in order to sustain the workers with food and materials. Each time you pay to expand your mining or farming operations 10 workers move onto your land. The 2 gold you have to pay diminished by 5 silver each time you upgrade your farming, however the total upkeep cost cannot drop below 1 gold.

If you are a noble, and have both farming and mining operations on your land, then you are permitted to build and maintain an army on your lands. This works as follows:

Unarmored Soldiers: 2 silver a piece.
Armored Soliders: 4 silver a piece
Heavy Ballista: 2 gold a piece (2 men required to man.)
Casters: 3 gold +1 gold per tower (so a 8 Tower Decay Caster would cost 11 gold to hire. (Casters can maintain circle wards and magical locks.)

In order to maintain your army you must pay half of what you originally bought them for (rounding the cost up.) So if you hire 8 soldiers then you must pay an 8 silver a month upkeep cost.
