Raven's Biograpghy

Written By: Raven Effect Web Master

Scott Levy, aka Raven, has done what a wrestler needs to do in order to make it in the industry. Training at The Monster Factory, Raven first had a gimmick of a man named Scotty The Body. Scott started his professional wrestling career in the NWA Pacific North West. He won his first title, the Pacific Northwest Tag Team title along with Top Gun on July 8, 1989, in Portland, Oregon. After winning several other NWA Titles, such as the Television Title, Scott left and went to the Global Wrestling Federation. There he was renamed Scott Anthony. In the GWF, Scott also won gold. When Scotty teamed with Rip in the finals of the GWF tag team title tournament but they lost to the Simpson brothers on July 27, 1991, in Dallas, Texas.

Scotty later left GWF and went to World Championship Wrestling. There he was named Scotty Flamingo. Scotty Flamingo won the WCW World LightHeavyweight Title not the Cruiserweight title, on June 20, 1992, defeating Brian Pillman in Mobile, Alabama. After losing the Light Heavyweight Title to Brad Armstrong on July 5, 1992, Scott left WCW and went to the World Wrestling Federation to become a manager. Scott dawned a "Spoiled Rich Kid" gimmick named Johny Polo. First managing Adam Bomb. And Then later managing the Quebeckers to the WWF Tag Team Titles.

Scott decided that he wanted to wrestle and not manage. So after hosting WWF's All American show, Scott decided to leave the WWF, and went to the USWA as again Scotty Flamingo. Winning the USWA Tag Team Titles with Brian Christopher beating The Moondogs in Memphis Tennessee. Then Scott went solo. He became Raven. An anti-socail grunge gimmick. After losing the MEWF title, Raven left for ECW. Where he teamed with Stevie Richards to win the ECW Tag Team Titles. After regaining the title from the Pitbulls. They lost the titles in a triangle match. Raven went solo and turned on Stevie.

Raven won his first ECW World title when he defeated the Sandman on January 27, 1996, in Philadelphia. After allowing Stevie to defend his title. Stevie lost it to The Sandman. On December 7, 1996, Raven defeated The Sandman in a Barbed Wire Match to regain the ECW title that he never lost. At ECW's first PPV. Dreamer cost Raven the World Title to Terry Funk. Later Raven and Dreamer had a match to end their rivalery. Raven loses a "loser leaves town" match to Tommy Dreamer at Wrestlepalooza 1997. On June 30, 1997, Raven is seen sitting at ringside during WCW Monday Nitro. The announcers recognize him as a champion from an independent organization.

While in WCW, Raven formed Raven's Flock. Consisting of Stevie Richards, Kidman, Perry Saturn, Scotty Riggs, Van Hammer, Sick Boy, Lodi, Reese, Horace Boulder, and later Mortis. Then on April 19, 1998, Raven pinned Diamond Dallas Page for the United States title. Only to lose it next night on Nitro, to Goldberg. Before leaving WCW, Raven joined Vampiro and the Insane Clown Posse in a group called the Dead Pool. After saying things about WCW on the radio, Eric Bischoff called a meeting before the August 23rd Nitro in Las Vegas, he offered anyone on the WCW roster a limited release if they were unhappy. Raven stood up, and walked out of the meeting. But his contract would not allow him to wrestle in the WWF. He would either have to stay, or wrestle for 1 year in ECW. Unhappy with WCW, Raven returned to Extreme Championship Wrestling.

Raven showed up on a TNN taping. He came out and DDT Buh Buh Ray Dudley. And he and Tommy Dreamer became the ECW Tag Team Champions. Later after losing the titles. Raven sided with Mike Awsome to take the Tag Team titles away from Dreamer and Tanaka. After "barrying the hachet" on Cyber Slam with Dreamer, and then saying thank you to ECW. Raven left.

Raven met with WWF officials on June 23rd to discuss a possible move back to the World Wrestling Federation. Raven debuted at Unforgiven, interferring in the Jerry Lawler-Tazz strap match. He gave Lawler an Even Flow DDT, allowing Tazz to win the match. Raven has a bright future in the WWF. Saying that he would never return to WCW. And made it clear that him and Paul E. no longer want to do bussiness. As you can tell. Everywhere Raven has gone. He has made an impact. Who knows what Raven will do. How extreme he will get. It leads to the question. "What about me? What about Raven!?"
