You were there, when others tried to bully me

you stopped them dead in their act Strength and love unsurpassed like only a brother can do.

I think of the times we shared Skipping stones on the calm water,

picking berries in the hot sun. looking for bugs to catch, and name.

We would climb trees, but you were always way up top

You picked me up, when I would fall You were always there, When I needed you most

I hope we can always look back and see
