DAYS LEFT UNTIL MY BIRTHDAY
DAYS LEFT UNTIL IT'S 5 YEARS AFTER MY MOM SAID "IN 5 YEARS" IN RESPONSE TO "CAN I TAKE THE CAR TO THE GAME AND TAILGATE?" BE THERE!
Saturday was decent. VERY slow start, finally went out at 11:30 to Tino's to watch "The Complete Works Of William Shakespear Abridged" with Jon. It's amusing, nothing spectacular though...although if I read more Shakespear I'd probably apreciate it more. After that much sitting and talking was done and I got back to the apartment at 5 (now). Many thanks to Mike for usage of the car, making it possible for me to be out until now without pissing many people off for rides/sleepover privilages. Most pleasing this is.
That and Shari now has a boyfriend. This is the first and only time I'm mentioning that here. Do not speak to me of it. I'm finding the less I think about everything there the happier...I mean, I can talk about general stuff with her or about her okay, but not this. So yeah...You have been warned...And oh yeah. what I wanted to put here...I'll react "hostily" to mention of it and everything, but I do realize it's all jealousy and such and I truthfully do wish them the best down on some level...just...yeah...you know. Go them...I think...
Oh well...Sunday will be home work day. Last night after going to sleep at 5 I WOKE UP AT 10! WHYYYY!? Possible solution: I went to take a nap around 6 and woke up around 8. Does this mean I have a 2 hour sleep cycle and sleep is patterned not around getting 8 hours of sleep but around getting 3 sleep cycles in, no matter how long a cycle is? And I'm also speaking of this mentally, I'd assume physically my body would appriciate being rested more during time I like to call, computer time (my fingers can take it ;) ).
ALSO NOTE!: This is the week of many good things 2003! May many good things happen! Heh...yeah...that's all I want for my birthday. A week of no worries...I think fate or whatever can fit that in for me. Oh well...it is 5am...I'm havin a drink then goin to sleep. Night!
I need a car. I need one because I bother people too much for rides. I need one because I don't feel right bothering people for them all the time. And I need one because most of the people I do get rides from have bedtimes at mid night, making me more reluctant to bother them because I know I'd rather stay out much later than that on many occations. Even if it's only two or three times, and even when people may or may not read this and say "Don't worry about it" or whatever people say to mean that, NOBODY can deny that having the freedom to go out whenever isn't just nice in and of itself...
In one week I will order a massive pizza. I think I'm deciding against this whole Canadia thing...I just don't feel right going...I hope nobody reserved me a room yet. Must find stuff for next Saturday. For Birthday #10 I had the party at a local, small, unlimited arcade tokens type place. That was the only place I've ever seen a Mario 1 arcade machine.
Notable birthdays:
Yeah, I'm ranting nothings, but I've got nothing else so read :P...hmm...
I can't think of any other good ones...Last year's would be on this list if not for...yeah, I'm not getting into what lead to the biggest let down of all time (Once again bringing up my uncanny memory for days. Lots of times last year on a friday, a mind would change. ::Takes deep breath to avoid having to smash things::. Sixth grade I remember sucked...and the middle two years at Stuy weren't very eventful at all. Heck, all I want is pizza, friends over here, and hugs from non-males...hmm, I don't believe I've been that blatant on this site before. Oh well, first time for everything. Something about this week makes me rant more selfish rants...and I think everyone's entitled to one of those now and again. I just choose the time around my birthday as that again. It's the one day of the year that, above all others, should have NOTHING go wrong on it. Nothing. So yeah, screw Canada, no real fun's gonna be had there. Must find stuff....maybe the redwings. Night!
Someone's teleprompter for the national anthem went out during a game and the singer forgot the words. I mean, do you really need a teleprompter for that? Props to the coach for going in to help out.
In other news today, HOLY SHIT WE HAD MORE THAN ONE ENCOUNTER! Take Steve Pat and Jin out of the party and add in Jose and another Matt, and you get a decently paced playing session! That actually goes somewhere! YES!
So I'm in a somewhat good mood. Gotta love it...later!
I can't sleep, so I figure I'll throw this up here. Ever wonder how someone's able to do something and manage to not go crazy from it? Yeah. It's kinda funny cause I mentioned it to a couple of other people and they agree with me on this thing. On the other hand, every time I bring it up it's met with repressed rage, and he is going crazy now. I don't know if that's "Good, finally, he is normal" or "oh well, there goes the neighborhood." Oh well...There's only so much you can do when you know the person in question will read this and eventually ask you "What's this about" so don't ask (there, now there's no suspicioun when someone asks me "what's this about" and I say "can't tell ya"...or does this only imbue more? Oh well).
And well for that matter. Well, I still kinda feel like something's missing, and more fun would be nice. On the other hand, more fun is ALWAYS more desireable...as well as less work. Heck, for the last 7 weeks of classes, I've just BLANKED. I've just kinda been...yes
Anyhoo, yeah. Otherwise I think I'm cool. Just kinda checking in.
Party in Rochester on May 3rd? Anyone? Yes, yes?
I forget the rest of what I wanted to say...so yeah...later!
Spent the weekend in Buffalo at Jon's for Easter. Twas much fun with the good food and such (and good food is always good). I also finally met the so called Beck Beck, who tells Jon to eat all the time, and discovered Brittany is actually me evil twin, being a red head half who's Italian half Irish person at RIT, doesn't like cheese, and somehow ended up with the same amounts of the same foods left on the plate after eating dinner. Go figure.
Also amusing over the weekend was the fact that I was called Flynn by everyone (including parents), and many questions related to "Can you eat this?" Apparently they don't call it "allergy to dairy" or even the incorect "lactose intollerent" but "DOOM". OH....MO.
I'm coming to the conclusion that my buying up the Mega Man series is like my mid-life crisis or something. With all the bad food I eat, heck, it might just be the middle of my life too :). Oh well...they will be mine...yeeeeeees....
Half way there, I can say this about my classes....
I have no idea what's going on in Prob and Stat. I have vauge idea of what's going on in Computer Organization. Chemistry, I'm getting by on good ol' High School know how and pre-typed notes (but then again, I was GOOD at chem back then, and I guess I never forgot it). Middle Eastern Politics...I'm doing decently in. C for C++ I'm doing...well...I'm doing above average in the class. Whether or not that nets me a good grade...it probably won't. Damn no curves.
And so the rest of this quarter will be FUN in that not fun way. Must figure out best was to have birthday celebration...Canada seems like less and less fun the more I think about it. Oh well...I should get my HW done. Later!
This weekend was good. I needed this.
Friday Night was a failed attemp at going to a good party, but hanging out with the ol' floor is always a good thing. Steve rocks for letting me crash in his room and such, so I even got to stay in me old room.
Saturday, forced Ian to stop playing Splinter Cell and come out. Went to Blockbuster, grabbed a Jon and a Brittany, watched the Brotherhood of the Wolf...or something like that. Watch i, it's a great Freedom...err...French film :). Frisbee and the Crittic and food getting ensued.
UNFORTUNATELY I STILL WOKE UP TOO DAMN EARLY!
Oh well, things are better. Later!
I think I'm being givin a hint...something about the lack of multiple word responses gives that much away...oh well. Fortunately, I'm dense :)...
And in other news, ideas...if _____ _____ ____ tomorrow, then I'd say _____ __ __ ___. In fact, if _____ _____ ______ tomorrow it's true...
At least D&D should be good tomorrow night...at least I'm praying it will be.
I just saw something disgusting...I feel unclean after that. There were a bunch of old guys in suits on the IT floor walking up to the CS floor, and some kid runs by my side and quickly puts a coin on the ground, runs off to the side of the stairwell, and watches. As soon as one of them picks it up, he starts laughing...
Where's a gun when you need one?
On the way back from classes today, random girl rolled down the window to her limmo and started waving. She eventually picked up the car phone and signaled me to call her. As the limmo spead off, I waved with my phone, prompting a laugh and a blwon kiss from her. Hee hee, she amuses me...now if only she wasn't only looking 15ish/if only I would see her again. Oh well, such is life.
bloop!
smack!
whack!
smash!
watching the sanity slowly go away...hee hee hee...things are always better when you can't think and realize the bad things...
Insert other things of nothingness here.
Read now cause Ill read this later and delete it.

Friday sucked because of snow but was otherwise kinda cool. I are fries with chopsticks, had a class cancelled, and talked about breasts for a while, and THAT is always fun. I also got a fortune cookie saying my daily happenings would make for a fascinating narrative, so go figure.
In other news, all Friday plans were ruined due to snow. As such, I must get pizza today (not even the pizza man deserved to have to go out in that mess), and get people to watch Brain Donors tonight instead. WATCH IT! Later folks.
I decided a couple of days ago that if I'm going to keep bitching about things being fucked u p everywhere, with religious fanatics near the top of the list, I should take down the X-mas countdown and replace it with something else. So enjoy the countdow until I'm 20...and then it's replacement, which you should all be able to guess ;).
So, what happened to all the updates?...hmm....okay, here's one big one.
Last weekend I went back to NYC for opening day. Friday was a very cool day for several reasons ...among which are NUNZIOS REOPENING, and seeing Chicago again. The first time I saw it was over the break with Shari. It was good then, but I wasn't paying enough attention to it to fully appriciate it. It rocks. This time it was seen with Sandy Ian and Mike.
You know that new thing they have, the twenty thing? Now, just to make you feel like the movie might actually start soon, they put on 20 minutes worth of digitally projected CRAP 20 minutes before the movie starts. Mostly ads...in fact, some are REPEATED! THEY'RE REPEATING FUCKING 3 MINUTE LONG ADVERTISEMENTS FOR MUST SEE TV! FUCK YOU NBC! FUCK YOU TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES, AND FUCK YOU THE TWENTY!
After the movie we went to Fridays...25 minute wait....so we go to find somewhere else... everywhere else has a huge line...so we get back to Fridays...about 30 minutes after we left. We walk in and "MIKE, PARTY OF 4!" (or something like that), so that was cool.
Saturday...Met game...Jae Soh gave up 4 runs in 5 batters in the first on 3 HRs. The mets lost by 4. Go figure. Also, Roger won the guessing the pitch speed game by one, so more power to him or something. After the game we wondered around Flushing, came up with schemes to hit on the girl working at Modells and then go to Wilson's baby shower and yell at FLOYD by throwing shirts at him for $10 a pop. I think it'd be worth it.
Sunday...I saw cousins. Good times.
Monday opening day sucked because of cold and bad Mets play and SNOW ON THE DRIVE BACK UP SO BAD YOU COULDN'T SEE 5 FEET IN FRONT OF THE CAR! Sigh.
Things that have happened since then: Had 3 tests this week, didn't really study for any of them. Mistake. Heh, oops. Must do better next time. But the Chem one worked out cause Chem's easy (95 on a 20 question test....DAMN YOU SIG FIGS!). On an uninteresting note, WAY back in Miss Furth's class at Stuy, we had a running joke. She'd always ask someone (I forget who) what the symbol for Tungston was, and she'd never get it right until lile December...it's W. An actual question on my Chem test: What is the chemical symbol for Tungston. w00t!
In othe news, 2 thing:
Oh well....I've gotta get this C code working...I think it might be because C
doesn't have quotes incldeing for local files...like in C++ you'd have #include "localfile.h" or something
instead of Oh well, I' ogff...and if there are ay typoes, I cblame the slow speed of text appearance on the monitor from this Spark machine...DAMN YOU IRON(.cs.rit.edu)!
Tough shit, I just got Zelda.
Steps to being happy:
1. Try not to think about that crazy war in Iraq. We all kinda knew it was going to come to this from the begining,
so just let it run its course at this point, maybe join a protest or two, maybe sign up if you're worrying in the other
direction, but either do something or don't, don't sit there worrying.
2. ZELDA IS BEING SHIPPED AS I TYPE! ZELDA! Z E L D A! The Golden CDs shall be revered for
many weeks to come.
3. Opening day for major league baseball is in a week! What's more, opening day for AAA baseball
is a week or so after that! I am going to at least try to get to both. Should be fun...and if I ever remember to do so,
I might work on AA and A opening days as well.
In more ridiculous "news", last night Steve and I plugged in my big mini-fridge and another smaller
fridge. We put the little fridge on top of the big one and put it on COLD, and put the lower one on
not as cold, stocked the lower one with beverages, and the upper one with meat. All in all, we have
a lot more storage space for cold stuff. It's good stuff. In fact there's even a beverage in the bottom with a label
I like..."How about that LOCAL sports team?" You get one guess.
Things discovered today:
That all said...Saturday the 5th of April is Rochester Red Wing's opening day. I must go! Must get tickets, get a driver, then get people! That should be fun...
Also...I went running Monday, and forgot to stretch afterwards...AND MY QUADS STILL HURT A LOT! It sucks feeling pain whenever you sit down/get up. Oh well, off to other stuff...later.
¡Aye caramba! Los mets no juega muy bueno en Puerto Rico.
You Want An Update?!? YOU WANT AN UPDATE!!!???
Please Be Happy?
