Do Now: Journal Writing #1 (prologue)
Describe the importance of the burial of the dead in your culture.
        In my culture burials are important because it gives people time to remember the ones that have moved on.  It's a time to honor the dead.  It's also a time to say final good-byes.  I don't know about everyone but in my family when someone died there's a wake which is a veiwing of the body so everyone can see that person for the last time.  Then the next day a funreal takes place for everyone to say their last fairwells.  After that everyone comes together, to eat and share fund memories about that person whether it be something or bad and everyone is there to console each other.

Describe your understanding of a good leader.

    A good leader is someone who stands up for themself and others.  They should also believe in what they stand for.  Good leaders should also have the ablity to endure what ever obstacles put in their path to do what they feel is right no matter what the obstacles are.  They should try their hardest to overcome the things or people that come in thier way.  A good leader should take one side and never give in to the opposition.  They should fight to the end and never give up until their goals are accomplished.  A good leader should help his/her followers and do right by them.

Scene 2 Journal
Describe a situation in which you feel obeying the law and following your heart are in conflict. How would you solve such a dilemma ? Explain the reason behind such a decision.
 

            A situation in which I feel obeying the laws and following your heart are in conflict is when lets say there's a law in your city that says all people under the age of 21 have to be in the house before 9:00at night, and you have to go to the hospital to see a family member.  Personally if it were me I would go see my family because you never know if that would be the last time you'll see that person alive.

Describe your ideal parent-children relationship. Be specific about what kind of role a parent and a child should play receptively in building such a relationship.

        My ideal parent-child(ren) relationship would be like the Brady Bunch or the Cosby Show.  Parents listen to children and don't get excited about everything.  It would be good for parents to try and understand the problems young adults have today.  Children also have to change, they are not all innocent.  Children would to change their attitudes.  They would have to learn more respect for adults and parents.  I know this will never happen but it would be nice if it did.
