A (very) brief history of The Kids:

So there's 5 guys....Dave, Bruce, Kevin, Mark, and Scott....and they all formed this comedy troupe, "The Kids in the Hall"....this was after they all took comedy classes and all that jazz....okay so then, they did this REALLY FUNNY show with tons of brilliant characters and stuff....and they went for 5 seasons...and then they decided to quit the show...but it wasn't the end....they made a movie, Brain Candy....which wasn't half bad....then they all went on to bigger and better things....Dave did "NewsRadio" and 4 or 5 movies...Bruce directed Dog Park and made a CD...Mark was on SNL and in Superstar...Kevin was in Senior Trip and "Invader ZIM"....and Scott was on "Larry Sanders" and "Providence"....and they did a tour....and made a tour documentary.......and who knows what's next?!?!

KitHy News:

~1/18/02 - Well it's official: The Kids are touring again!!!! Dates and venues are all TBA, but the time frame is set for late March through late May 2002. More news as I get it!!

~11/17/01 - Scott did a show on 11/16 in Buffalo that I happened to attend -- and I MET HIM!!! See the new "Meeting Scott Thompson" page here (still under construction)

~10/4/01 - Congratulations to Dave and his girlfriend, Crissy, on their engagement!!!

~9/12/01 - I wish to send my deepest condolences to those who lost loved ones in the horrible acts of terrorism that occured here yesterday. My thoughts are with you.

~Congratulations to Mark McKinney and his wife, Marina, who now have a 6lb, 14oz baby girl named Emma Jane McKinney! The couple also has a 6 year-old son, Christopher.

~I'm sorry to report that Dave Foley's new series, "What's Up Peter Fuddy?" has not been picked up for FOX's fall season.

~Word on the streets (and the newsgroup) is that Dave Foley supposedly told the press that The Kids are thinking about doing another movie or possibly another tour!!!

~Hating to be the bearer of bad news, I am sad to report that the bass player from SMOASP, Reid Russell Diamond, died from cancer on 2/17/2001 at the age of 42.
