Well, I think I should start by introducing myself. My name is Jaicee and in 1989, when I was sixteen I gave birth to my daughter. I am now Twenty-nine years old, and also have a six year old son. I married the father of my daughter, ten months after she was born, and ten months later, after a hard and nasty marriage, I left him. We divorced soon after. Anyway, in 1993 I remarried and have been married to my second husband ever since, and have a son with him. I am a stay at home mom, although I did work outside the house, until my son was born. Now that both of my kids are in school, I have been trying to get a writing career going. I am in the middle of writing a novel, and have also written some humorous parenting stories, which you can see on this webpage. I also am writing a book on Teen Pregnancy, with the help of my story, and other teen moms like me who have been nice enough to share their story with me.

On the My Personal Story Page you can read my story of when I was 16 and discovered I was pregnant, and how I coped with it. This is a story that I have been shopping around to magazines, for publication. Please read and enjoy, and dont forget to go to the other pages on this site. My experience as a teen mom has never left me, I know how hard it can be and I know how lonely and frustrating it can feel. I have been through the looks from strangers, the problems with family, and the not knowing anything about raising good kids. You are not alone, there are so many out their like you, and I hope through this page, we can start a support system for Teen moms to talk and exchange thoughts and feelings, problems and joys.
