Drastic Mezures: At 8.2% St. Ides High Gravity is almost as strong as Camo but drinking anything this strong out of a can is the wrong way to go. This shit tasted so bad I felt like I gave someone a rim job after drinking this. Its like Crazy Horse died and came back as a big mean dog. I think if I had it in a 40 it wouldn't have been as bad. I'll get a 40 of it soon and give it another review. I finally got a 40 of St. Ides HG and I think it's not as bad as OE HG but not as good as Steel Reserve, which isn't saying much. As you can see, the St. Ides High Gravity 40 is almost identical to the old St. Ides Premium 40. Below are the two small differences between the two bottles.

Tight Rope says: Every ounce of negativity I feel for St. Ides is magnified in St. Ides High Gravity. High Gravity St. Ides = High Gravity bitter hatred.

Here's the old Premium label. All they mainly changed on the High Graity label was the name.
The bottom left corner of the label on the St. Ides Premium has the volume in metric. On the High Gravity 40 they simply changed the 1.184 L to the alcohol percent.

See the previous 40 in the list. See the next 40 in the list.
