ROSETTES 1C. Flour 1/2 tsp salt 1C. Milk 1 to 3 teaspoons sugar 1 egg, unbeaten Mix ingredients together. Heat deep fryer to 365. Dip rosette in batter, but DO NOT cover. Dip level to top edge in batter. Place in fryer for 45 seconds. Remove and drop rosette on paper towel. Dust with powdered sugar or turn over and fill with fruits or jam or fruit sauces. Also good with whipped cream or ice cream fillers. Makes 5 doz.
