CHEWY CHIP COOKIES - A favorite from Tom 1/2 C. Softened butter or margarine 1 C. Granulated Sugar 1/2 C. Packed Brown Sugar 2 Eggs 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (or real thing if you've won the lottery) 2 C. Flour 1/3 C. Cocoa 1 teaspoon Baking Soda 1/2 teaspoon Salt 1 12oz. bag Chocolate, raspberry, or peanut butter chips Heat oven to 350. In large bowl beat butter, sugar, and brown sugar until blended. Add eggs and Vanilla- beat well. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking soda, & salt. Gradually add to butter mixture beating until well mixed. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 9-11 mins. till set. Cool slightly so you can remove them without squishing. Cool completely on wire rack. Makes 4 doz. little ones or 20 large ones (Toms' size)
