Death To Evil:

George Chan 7/01

I sit alone in my lair, dark and pungent with a foul stench of death,

In the shadows I could hear a creature slithering about.  Jumping from nook to nook, cackling at me, for all my failures in life. As he crept behind me I yelled “who art thou, whom stalks me so in the darkness of my lair?”

A cackle from behind replied, “I am the darkness, the blither of light, the evil of man, the destroyer of man!”

I asked, “Why hast thou haunted me? With your foul odor of death and your stalking in the night”

And he replied “its your time, you have squandered your life away, and look at your pathetic body going to waste in your luxurious chair and you moping about in this darkness. Its time for you to die to give up and come with me to spend your eternity in my realm.”

And I said to thee with all the anger in my heart, “I will strike you down with all the fury and anger in my heart, for you are a man of devils loins and boiling blood. Now may your blood water the grounds upon which you lay to waste.”

And the devil said. “But what are you a man of mortal blood or just a bag of wind with a falsehood of hope.”

And I replied. “I am the maker, the conqueror of evil, I am me and I will kill thee cause of what I know is love and loyalty.  To thy own heart and you foul being are nothing but a creature that feast upon the spoils of love and the turmoil of man.”
