Positive?

Your tongue covered me with lies

That felt like kisses

And after questioning you once

I asked no more.

Abandoning myself to your poison caresses,

I let the matter slip from my mind.

And now you tell me

Yes, there was someone else

And

No, it was only once

But

Once is all it takes

To sully our love

And destroy my peace of mind.

In my weakness, I love you still.

My fists say No, I won't.

My mind and heart are at war

And suddenly my closest ally

Has become my most feared enemy.
