Points are calculated over a 52 week period, taking only the points earned at the top 8 events a competitor has participated in, to date (less events are used if you have been in less then 8). Once a person has competed in more then 8 events, the lowest point totals earned in an event are dropped. If a person has competed in 10 events, the 2 lowest point totals of any events are eliminated.

There are a total of 12 events on the ASA Pro Tour. 11 regular season events and the World Championships. The top 28 ranked Vertmen and top ranked Streetmen at the end of the regular season, plus 2 wildcard entries in each discipline, qualify for the World Championships.
