Emotions-CHAPTER FIVE
Adrianne went upstairs and craddeled Angel in her arms.
"Shhh, don't cry." Adrianne said softly, "Daddy didn't mean to yell. He's not mad at you. He's mad at me."
Adrianne picked up the phone and called Kevin-
"Hello"
"Hi Kev, it's Adrianne. Have you seen Alex?"
"No, why?"
"He left the house. We got into a fight."
"Over what?"
"Well, tonight at the club I got up and danced on a table. These guys who were there, apparenly were making comments about me. And of course, Alex got mad."
"WHAT?!? What were you thinking? You could've been raped or even worse..."
"Kev, I really don't need a lecture from you. Right now, I'm trying to find out where my husband is."
"Well if I see him I'll let you know."
"Alright. Thanks. Cya."
Adrianne called Brian, Nick, and Howie. They all said the same thing- they hadn't seen AJ.
"Where is he?" Adrianne said to herself.

AJ had driven around for about three hours. Finally, he stoped at Brian's house.
AJ pounded on the door, "Rok, let me in."
Brian opened the door, "Alex? What's going on?"
AJ walked into the house and said, "Adrianne and I got into a fight. I yelled at her and then left."
"You bastard!" Brian shouted, "If you hurt her I swear I'll throw your ass through a window!!"
AJ was shocked, "Whoa, I've never seen you act like this."
Brian replied, "I'll do anything to protect my little cousin. Now tell me, did you hurt Adrianne?"
"Of course not!" AJ said, "I would NEVER hurt her. You know that."
"Yeah" Brian said, "So, what happend?"
AJ told Brian the whole story about what happend at the club.
"I probably shouldn't have gotten so angry." AJ said, "I don't know what came over me."
"Go talk to her." Brian replied, "Trust me, you'll feel alot better."
"You're right." AJ said, "Thanks."
Brian smiled, "Anytime. Now go home."
AJ got home half an hour later. He walked into the house, unsure of what was gonna happen.
As soon as AJ came in, Adrianne got up off the couch. She ran over to her husband and hugged him tightly.
After a minute, Adrianne shoved AJ into the wall.
"ALEXANDER JAMES MCLEAN!!" Adrianne cried, "Don't ever do that to me again! I was scared to death. I didn't know where you were."
"I'm sorry."AJ said as the two of them sat on the couch, "About everything. I shouldn't have gotten so angry. I just didn't want to see you get hurt. Adrianne if something bad ever happend to you, I'd never be able to forgive myself. I love you so much."
Adrianne smiled, "I love you too. It's ok. But, I'm not the only one you should be apologizing to."
"You're right." AJ said. He walked upstairs.
AJ went into Angel's room and walked over to her crib. Angel opend her eyes and smiled at him.
"Hi sweetie." AJ whispered, "Listen, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to yell. I would never hurt Mommy or you. I love you." AJ picked up his daughter and rocked her back and forth.
The next morning, the guys went back into the studio.
Adrianne stayed home with Angel. Veronica had come over.
After laying Angel down for a nap, Adrianne and Veronica talked in the living room.
"So" Adrianne said, "How are things going with you and Nick?"
"Great" Veronica said, "He finally kissed me last nigt."
"Really?" Adrianne asked, "That's wonderful. I'm so happy for both of you."
"Thanks." Veronica replied, "Nick's such a gentleman. He spent the night at my apartment. Nick could've tried something, but he didn't. Hey Adrianne- can I ask you something?"
"Sure" Adrianne said.
"Did you always know that you loved Alex?" Veronica asked.
"No" Adrianne laughed, "When I first met Alex, when BSB first started, I thought he was so annoying. For years, we hated each other. Kevin got so mad because Alex and I would always fight."
"Wow" Veronica said, "I never would've thought. You two are like, the perfect couple."
"Thanks" Adrianne replied.
AJ came home at around 11:30pm. Obviously, he was exausted. But despite that, he stayed up and sang Angel to sleep. He and Adrianne cuddled together in their room and watched a movie.
Adrianne and AJ fell sleep at 3:00am. But that wasn't a good thing for Adrianne. She was having a bad dream. It was actually more of a flashback-
*FLASHBACK- August 25, 1991*
It was 9:30 pm. Twelve year old Adrianne was in her room getting ready to go to sleep. She heard a knock on her door.
"Come in." Adrianne said.
Adrianne's Dad walked in.
"Hi sweetie." he said.
"Hi Daddy." Adrianne replied.
"I just thought I'd tuck you in." Jerald Sr. said.
Adrianne rolled her eyes, "I'm 12. I'm too old to be tucked in."
Jerald Sr. smiled, "You're never too old for that. C'mon, hop into bed."
Adrianne got under her covers. She suddenly became concerned. Her Dad looked very pale.
"Are you ok Daddy?" Adrianne asked.
"I'm fine." Jerald Sr. replied, "I'm just a little tired. Hey, I got you something. Think of it as a late birthday present."
Jerald Sr. handed his daughter a box. Adrianne opend it and saw a dark blue jacket with silver striped down the sleeves.
"I love it!" Adrianne said, "This is the jacket I saw at the mall last week. You didn't have to get this for me. It's too expensive."
"Don't worry about the cost." Jerald Sr. said, "I wanted you to have it."
"Thank you Daddy." Adrianne said as she put on the jacket.
"You're welcome sweetie." Jerald Sr. replied, "I know you're tired, so I'm gonna go. Goodnight."
Adrianne hugged her Dad, "Goodnight Daddy. I love you."
"I love you too Adrianne."
Adrianne layed her head on her pillow and fell asleep, unaware of what would happen in just a few short hours.
At 4:00am, Kevin walked into his little sisters room. Tears filled his eyes. But, he did his best to stay calm.
"Adrianne" Kevin said as he shook her gently, "Wake up sweetie."
Adrianne opend her eyes and looked at Kevin, "What's going on?"
"Mom took Daddy to the hospital." Kevin said, "We need to get down there right away."
Adrianne was confused, "Is Daddy sick?"
Kevin picked Adrianne up, "We gotta go."
Kevin drove to the hospital. Tim and Jerald Jr. sat in the back seat with Adrianne.
Twenty minutes later, Adrianne, Kevin, Tim, and Jerald Jr ran into the emergency room. They saw their Dad on a bed on wheels surronded by their Mom and a couple of nurses.
"Daddy!" Adrianne said as she ran over to him, "Are you ok?"
Jerald Sr. smiled weakly, "Don't worry Adrianne. I'll be fine."
The nurses and Anne wheeled him down the hall.
Four hours later, they still hadn't heard anything.
Adrianne layed down in Kevin's lap. Kevin tried to comfort his little sister as best he could.
All of a sudden, Anne walked into the waiting room. She was obviously crying. She motioned for Kevin, Tim, and Jerald Jr. to come over.
Adrianne was confused. She had no idea what was going on.
Finally, Kevin walked over to Adrianne and bent down. He was crying now too.
"Sweetie, we have to tell you something." Kevin said, his voice shaking.
"What?" Adrianne asked, "Where's Daddy?"
"Sweetie" Anne said, "Daddy's gone."
Adrianne was really confused now, "What do you mean Daddy's gone?"
"I'm sorry." Kevin said, "He's dead."
Adrianne started to cry, "No. No.... it can't be true."
"I'm afraid it is." Tim said.
"NOOOOOO!!!!!" Adrianne screamed, "Daddy's not dead. He can't be dead. I WANT MY DADDY! I WANT MY DADDY!"
Adrianne jumped into Kevin's arms, sobbing heavily.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
"No!!!!" Adrianne screamed as she woke up, sweat dripping of her face and arms.
"Oh no." Adrianne thought, "This can't be happening. Not again..."
