Emotions-CHAPTER TWENTY ONE
Three hours later, Anne, Tim, Jerald, and Liz arrived.
Anne walked up and hugged Kevin, "What happend?"
"I dunno" Kevin said, "We were throwing her a suprize party and AJ told her to come down to the studio a bit early. AJ and I were waiting outside. When they saw us, Angel ran towards us. But then she saw something and she ran into the road. A car was coming. Adrianne saw it, and ran into the middle of the road and threw Angel out of the way."
"That's my little girl." Anne said, "Always putting others first."
"You guys better watch out." Jerald said, "I just saw a whole bunch of reporters outside."
"Jesus Christ!!" AJ said angirly, "I'll take care of this..."
AJ was about to run out, but Marcus stoped him, "Don't Alex, it'll just make things worse. I'll deal with them."
Finally, a doctor came out and looked at AJ, "Are you Adrianne's husband?"
"Yes" AJ replied, "Is Adrianne gonna be ok?"
The doctor looked at his clipboard and then looked up at everyone, "We were able to stop the bleeding. There was some internal bleeding that we were able to fix as well. But Adrianne is in a coma right now. We had to put her on life support. Almost all of her ribs are broken. We're not sure if there is any brain damage. Some of the test results haven't come back yet."
"Is Adrianne gonna wake up?" Anne asked.
The doctor sighed, "Honestly Mrs. Richardson, I don't know. I wish I could tell you otherwise, but I can't right now."
"Can we see her?" Brian asked.
"Yes" the doctor replied, "But one at a time."
AJ slowly walked down to his wife's room, tears in his eyes.
He looked up towards the sky, "Why are you doing this to me? I was finally happy. Why? What did I do to deserve this?"
AJ took a deep breath and entered Adrianne's room.
