Emotions- CHAPTER FIFTEEN
David: Welcome to Slime Time Live! I'm joined today by a talented and beautiful singer. Her name is Adrianne McLean. Welcome to the show Adrianne.
Adrianne: Thank you for having me.
David: I know you recently finished opening up for the Backstreet Boys on their tour. How was that?
Adrianne: It was alot of fun. The fans are so sweet.
David: So Adrianne, how's your daughter doing?
Adrianne: Angel's good. She's two now. She's walking and talking.
Audience: Awww
David: What song are you gonna perform for us today?
Adrianne: It's the first single off my first cd. The song is called "Rock Baby".
David: I'm guessing that it's a rock song?
Adrianne: Yeah, but it also has some r&b mixed in. I wrote the song with Alex & Kevin.
David: Cool. Well, we got a couple of games coming up first. Then Adrianne McLean will be performing for us. We'll be right back.
Adrianne helped out with the games. She had always liked being around kids.
Soon after, Adrianne performed. The audience seemed to love the song.
After Slime Time Live, Adrianne had a little free time before she had to do an interview for a local newstation.
"Hey Adrianne." Veronica said, entering the dressing room, "You were great out there."
"Thanks" Adrianne replied, "Mrs. Carter"
"Nick told you?" Veronica asked.
Adrianne nodded, "Yup. He also told me about the baby. Congratulations!"
"Thanks." Veronica said.
"Your welcome." Adrianne said, "Tell ya what, I'll take you shopping for baby clothes soon. I know allthe cool stores."
The next day Adrianne did a photo shoot for her album. The album cover was gonna look awesome. They were making it look like half of Adrianne had a punk rock/gothic look, while the other half she was dressed in white and surronded by clouds for an angelic/good girl kinda look.
"Don't forget you have a radio interview tomorrow morning." Kevin said to Adrianne.
"I promised Angel that I would take her with me tomorrow when Veronica, Elizabeth, and I go shopping for clothes for Veronica & Nick's baby."
Kevin sighed, "Sweetie, this interview is really important. Alot of people listen to this station. It's a great place to promote your album."
"I don't care." Adrianne said, "Family and friends come first. You know that Kev. I'd be more than happy to do the interview. Can't you just rescheduale it?"
"Alright" Kevin said.
*THE NEXT DAY*
"Mommy where are we going?" Angel asked.
"We're gonna go to the mall." Adrianne said, "We're helping Aunt Veronica pick out some stuff for her and Uncle Nick's baby."
Angel turned to Veronica, "I gonna have a baby cousin?"
Veronica smiled, "You sure are sweetie."
"Here" Angel said, "This is for da baby."
"Angel," Veronica said, "This is you favorite Elmo doll. Are you sure?"
"Yeah I sure." Angel replied, "I gots lots of toys already. I want my baby cousin to have toys too."
Veronica hugged Angel, "Thanks Angel. You're such a good little girl."

The girls went through several baby stores.
"Have you thought of any names yet?" Elizabeth asked Veronica.
"We agreed." Veronica said, "If it's a girl- I get to pick out the name. If it's a boy- Nick gets to pick out the name. I like the names Isabell and Sara."
When they went for a lunch break, Veronica had about six shopping bags filled with: clothes, toys, blankets,etc.
"Mommy I want a cheeseburger pwease." Angel said as they all waited in line at the food court.
"Ok baby." Adrianne replied, "We'll get you your cheeseburger."
As they ate, Veronica asked Adrianne and Elizabeth questions about being married and having kids.
"Do you two ever get into fights with AJ and Howie?"
"Oh yeah." Elizabeth laughed, "But there's a way for us wives to win any argument."
"Really?" Veronica asked, "How?"
"Tell them," Adrianne said, "That if they don't stop being jerks, they're gonna sleep on the couch on not get anything. It works everytime."
Suddenly, Veronica got a funny look on her face. She ran over to the nearest garbage can and threw up.
Adrianne held Veronica's hair back, "Are you gonna be ok hun?"
"I think so." Veronica said, "I feel so sick."
"Get use to it." Adrianne said, "Trust me, it gets worse. But it's all worth it when you hold your baby for the first time."
Adrianne picked up Angel, "I think we should go. You guys are coming to the video shoot tomorrow right?"
"Of course." Elizabeth said.
Adrianne smiled as they walked out to the car.
