MATTHEW, My First Born
Ever since Matt was a very small boy,
his first love was HOCKEY.
His father is a avid hockey fan and
bought Matt his first hockey stick (a very short one)
when he was about 2-3 years old.
The love of the game clicked in fast.
I can remember Matt "skating" around the house,
particularly on the linoleum, with socks on,
chasing a homemade puck with his little hockey stick.
Matt would engage in this activity for hours.
Television hockey games were viewed often and
Matt would pretend he was playing right along with them.
One vivid memory is when he or his father
would shout out the "play by play" while Matt was "skating".
As Matt grew older his love of hockey was maintained...
he's always played the goaly position and has loved his home and travel team experiences.
Even these days...he's 25 in yr. 2001
He enjoys hockey on television and
keeping up with the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Its been wonderful watching him over the years with his favorite LOVE
...of Hockey!
