1. Put a BIG strip of tape over the hub of the non-axle side of the yo-yo. You may 2-ply the tape if you want, but i don't have to so ha!
2. With one half of the scissors, cut out the tape which is covering the axle hole. the easiest way is to put the scissors on the corner between the outside of the hub and the axle hub and rub it on the tape in a circle. the axle tape should come out no problem.
3. Cut the tape in a circle which is equal to the circumference to the hub of the yo-yo half. (ask a parent what this means)
4. Disgard the excess tape. Take the axle out of the other side of the yo-yo and do the the other side of the yo-yo
5. Now, with the tip of the scissors, make lines, preferably 8, in the tape running from the axle hole to the edge of the hub. you should have what looks like starburst.
6. screw together, slap on slick 6 and yo away!
