MEET THE AUTHOR

Brian Rhodes

I was born in Perth Australia, in 1958 on August 14th to be exact. I had a very unusual introduction to my life as a human. My parents where married but not to each other. My mother Bonnie Rhodes nee Kelly, was married to her husband and had already had 4 children…My father Harold Joseph Holland was married to his wife Amy Holland nee Dee and they had 6 children. one called Rene dying around the age of 13/14…I was to become the youngest in both families and although belonging to both families I was not attached to either.

One of my earliest memories is as a spirit floating above my mothers body and there being 6 to 7 other spirits trying to get in…I put out one surge of my energy and they scatter. I say to these spirits this is mine go away.

The next memory is about the age of 3 or 4 and I was with my father looking up at the stars at night, I remember turning to him, pointing towards a star, cannot remember which one, saying see that star up there…..that’s home I will go home one day..

I had a largely uneventful childhood, growing up mainly by myself I developed a love of just being with myself. I remember a few incidents in primary school, one where the teachers told my father I failed grade one and as a result was sent to slow learners school, but I was only there for a half day before they realized I was normal. Another incident was in about grade 4 or 5 when I challenged my teacher, she had made a statement and I knew her statement to be wrong so I challenged her, she replied could I prove it, I said yes I could and would bring in a book the next day to confirm it, this I did, and was virtually told to shutup and how dare I challenge the authority. I closed up when it came to school work after this because I could see it was a waste of time to argue and challenge the teachers.

During primary school I read every book in our primary school library and learnt a lot, if people wanted to know where I was, it was accurate for people to reply Brian’s in the library.

In high school I had only just over a year to enjoy it. And enjoy it I did. One incident was during a 2 hour lesson…the lesson had only just started, and I took the centre seat of a row of 5 by 5..we had been given a project to talk about. As no one else volunteered to go first I put up my hand, and started talking, the lesson had only been going for about 15/20 minutes when I started reading. I look up, and there is Rene in front of me where the teacher was sitting. It felt like my mouth and mind where put on autopilot and as the mouth was moving, I was being given a glimpse into another world. She approached me and stood in front of me and then entered into my body. All this took place in an instant, the lesson closed about 15/20 minutes later. To this day I have no memory of the missing one and a half hours.

I started writing when I was 9 years old. The first work called The Phoenix took all of almost 25 years to complete. It is somewhere in NSW in the hands of a lady called Catherine Crowley. I first met her in Sydney she came to the door stark naked, she gave me a focus for my life.

I lived in Sydney for about 3 years in various suburbs, I moved back to Perth for the next 6 years, moved again to Melbourne met a lady called Riki who changed my life by again giving me a focus. Riki and I moved to Adelaide and then moved here to the Gold Coast where I have been for the last six years. I now have a woman in my life called Janice. Who since coming my way has brought a whole lot of energy with her. I had a major shift on the 1st of December 2000 and have in a lot of ways not looked back. One of my works called Amalan is in pre production as an animated movie, the first one of its kind on the Tarot. You can see by the titles and the examples given that I have been very prolific and I would like to offer my gratitude that you have decided to read this. Please enjoy the works I have here.
