Someone from a distance is watching
He says to himself
What a breathtaking and beautiful land is planet earth
And yet, how can they continue to destroy
that which gives life....

He asked himself, "What have they done?
Don't they know that they are one and the same?"
Everything on the planet forms a circle of life
Without one, the other will die...

"Where did I go wrong?", he wonders.
I gave them everything they needed
They had no need for the other
Now look at the consequences...

The oceans and rivers are polluted
Killing and poisoning thousand of sea animals
Every second of the day
At this rate, soon there will be no sea animals to feed on
Nor water to sustain...

Animals slaughtered for the sake of sport
For sake of greed and power. A power
That leads to more destruction.
I ask, "Why?"
Everything in this world deserves
The right to live, even non-living things
Which has a force of its own...

Chemical waste, nuclear waste
Necessary? I don't think so.
If companies can amass billions of dollars
Then I am sure they can spend some
In finding new ways to
Dispose of these dangerous fume and toxic
In a safer and harmless way to anything or anyone
We all want a future, and a future for our
children, and our children's children
On this planet with all its splendor

Thousands of trees are chopped down every day
Not once do these men stop to think and ask
What will give me shade, a cool breeze, and fresh air,
If these trees disappear?
Where will the forest animals live?
If we force them out, they have no choice
But to survive in our backyards...

Many people are killed daily
The smoke screen, religion,
ethnicity, power, and once again greed
Who is their common enemy?

We are, the people
As we make the damage
We can also repair it
It only takes one person
That one joined by another
And before you know it
We can amend what we did...

Embrace nature,
Just as you embrace your family and friends
Just as they return your embrace
So too will nature...

I want to awake and witness another glorifying
sunrise and sunset. Unique in its own way
as you and I.

Once branded savages and heathen
So others could claim what they
Praised, Respected, Honored, and Worshipped
Natives around the world knew the power
and essence of the things surrounding them
Wise men, our natives. It leaves you to
wonder who is the civil and the uncivilize.

If you need a tree, take it, but remember
to plant another for others who come
