Forecast on Feb
17th @ 11 PM was snow starting around 10
AM, changing to sleet/freezing rain very
early in the afternoon, and then to
plain rain. Total snowfall expected
1-3"Snow started falling @ 10:15 AM.
It changed to rain at 1:45 PM. Total
snowfall 1 1/2" Roads mainly wet &
slushy.
The temp dropped
to freezing around 9 PM as some colder
air worked in as the storm passed by.
Light freezing mist fell from 2 AM on
the 19th until 10 AM. Roads were not too
bad, but it was slippery walking. Some
ice formed on the trees.
A lot of
moisture remaind in the lower levels of
the atmosphere during the day on the
19th. With darkness, the air cooled and
it snow from 6-7 PM. Received a dusting.
