After Sayla took the Gundam out for a spin and really got messed up, she tried again, and ended up handling the Gundam well and destroying an enemy Zaku. Of course, when Lt. Matilda delivered the new Gundam modules to be used with/along side/to combine/to assist the Gundam - the multi-purpose G-Fighter, Sayla was immediately deemed the pilot.

Name: G-Fighter
Type: Fighter
Manufacturer: Earth Federation
Master Pilot: Sayla Mass and Sleggar Law
First deployment: UC 0079
Pilots: Pilot only, in detachable fighter cockpit. Weight: Unknown
Construction and armor: Titanium Alloy
Weaponry: Beam Cannon x2, 2-Tube Missile Launcher x1

When Lt. Matilda delivered the new Gundam module, the G-Fighter, to the White Base, they chose Sayla Mass to be the pilot, due to testing and battle experience. Sayla slowly became a better pilot with the G-Fighter, and fought alongside the others. When Sayla fully manifests her Newtype abilities, she is able to take out a group of Mobile Suits, including heavy armor Rick Doms, without a problem. The G-Fighter could act as a moving "platform" for the Gundam. Meaning the Gundam could stand on top of the G-Fighter while its flying around, enabling it to hit other units in the air.

Name: G-Armor
Type: Fighter/Tank
Manufacturer: Earth Federation
Master Pilot: Sayla Mass, Sleggar Law, and Amuro Ray
First deployment: UC 0079
Pilots: Pilot, in detachable fighter cockpit, Pilot, in Gundam cockpit Weight: Unknown
Construction and armor: Titanium Alloy
Weaponry: Beam Cannon x2, 3-Tube Missile Launcher x2, Gundam Shield x2, Gundam Beam Rifle x1

One of the reasons why it's called a "Gundam Module". The G-Fighter can detach the front of it and allow the Gundam to dock horizontally, forming the G-Armor. The G-Armor allowed both the G-Fighter pilot and the Gundam Pilot to work together. This was a help for G-Fighter Pilot, Sayla Mass. The Gundam pilot, Amuro, would control the beam cannons while she piloted, which was better strategically.

Name: G-Bull
Type: Tank
Manufacturer: Earth Federation
Master Pilot: Sayla Mass and Amuro Ray
First deployment: UC 0079
Pilots: Pilot, in detachable fighter cockpit, Pilot, in Gundam cockpit Weight: Unknown
Construction and armor: Titanium Alloy
Weaponry: Beam Cannon x2, Gundam Shield x2, Gundam Beam Rifle x1

The G-Bull is sort of an odd weapon, but a weapon nonetheless. The upper half of the Gundam, and front part of the G-Fighter could form a tank known as the G-Bull. The G-Bull is obviously made for land combat.

Name: G-Sky
Type: Fighter
Manufacturer: Earth Federation
Master Pilot: Sayla Mass, Hayato Koyabashi, and Amuro Ray
First deployment: UC 0079
Pilots: Pilot, in detachable Core Fighter cockpit, Pilot, in Gundam cockpit Weight: Unknown
Construction and armor: Titanium Alloy
Weaponry: 2-barrel 25 mm vulcan gun x 2, missile launcher x 2 (4 rounds)

The detachable front of the G-Fighter could be seperated, and a Core Fighter could be attached in its place. This was known as the G-Sky. Like the G-Armor, the G-Sky could dock the Gundam in it.

Name: G-Sky-Easy
Type: Fighter
Manufacturer: Earth Federation
Master Pilot: Hayato Koyabashi
First deployment: UC 0079
Pilots: Pilot, in detachable Core Fighter cockpit Weight: Unknown
Construction and armor: Titanium Alloy
Weaponry: 2-barrel 25 mm vulcan gun x 2, missile launcher x 2 (4 rounds)

Okay, so Sayla never piloted the G-Sky-Easy, Hayato did. But, it still is a different form of the G-Fighter. The G-Sky-Easy was exactly like the G-Sky, however, did not dock the Gundam in it. This allowed maneuverability for the G-Sky.

Name: FF-X7-Bst Core Booster
Type: Fighter
Manufacturer: Earth Federation
Master Pilot: Sayla Mass and Sleggar Law
First deployment: UC 0079
Pilots: Pilot only, in standard cockpit Weight: Unknown
Construction and armor: Titanium Alloy
Weaponry: 2-barrel 25 mm vulcan gun x 2, missile launcher x 2 (4 rounds)

In the 0079 Movie versions of Mobile Suit Gundam, each of the movie trilogy was only 90 minutes long, and though that may seem like a good amount of time, they did not have the time to put in the G-Fighter and all of its different "forms". So, instead of putting in the G-Fighter, they put in the Core Booster, which was a modified G-Fighter size Core Fighter.

Name: RX-78-2 Gundam
Type: Mobile Suit
Manufacturer: Earth Federal Forces

First deployment: UC 0079
Pilots: Pilot only, in standard cockpit. Weight: 43.4 metric tons
Construction and armor: Lunar Titanium Alloy
Weaponry: 2x 60 mm vulcan gun, mounted in head, 2x beam saber, power rated at 0.38 MW, hand-carried in use, Beam Rifle, powered by rechargable energy cap, 380 mm hyper bazooka, clip-fed, 5 rounds per clip plus 1 round in chamber, beam javelin, hyper hammer, Gundam hammer, and shield, can be optionally stored on backpack.

During one of Ramba Ral's attacks, Sayla decided to take the Gundam out. She had of course, gone through a few training tests. She did this so she could find out what was going on with her brother, Char. Of couse, she was thrown in the brig for using the Gundam. Later, she pilots the Gundam again, and ends up destroying a Zaku. Her ability to easily handle the Gundam is what made her the pilot of the G-Fighter/Core Booster.

Name: RX-78-3 Gundam "G-3"
Type: Mobile Suit
Manufacturer: Earth Federal Forces
Master Pilot: Earth Federation Test Technicians and Sayla Mass
First deployment: UC 0079
Pilots: Pilot only, in standard cockpit. Weight: 43.4 metric tons
Construction and armor: Lunar Titanium Alloy
Weaponry: 2x 60 mm vulcan gun, mounted in head, 2x beam saber, power rated at 0.38 MW, hand-carried in use, Beam Rifle, powered by rechargable energy cap, 380 mm hyper bazooka, clip-fed, 5 rounds per clip plus 1 round in chamber, beam javelin, hyper hammer, Gundam hammer, and shield, can be optionally stored on backpack.

All Gundam fans are probably saying, what the hell is the Gundam "G-3"? There were three Gundams made at Side 7, and all looked the same - like the RX-78-2. But, two of them were destroyed, and Amuro ended up piloting the remaining one. The White Base gathered the parts of the destroyed Gundams, and brought them to Jaburo. There, they used the parts to create the RX-78-3 Gundam, also known as G-3. The G-3 was used by the Federation technicians to test the magnetic coating, which was later used on Amuro's Gundam so it could keep up with the Newtype pilot. In the video game, Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack, for Playstation, the G-3 was a hidden Mobile Suit. The pilot? Sayla Mass, of course.
