Ch.1“D, you have a phone call, it’s your mom, its urgent” Brian said. “K, Thanx Rok” he said and headed back to the dressing room to answer it. “Hello” he answered “Howie” she said, she was crying hard. “Whats wrong, mom!” he asked “It’s Caroline…” she said A shock struck through him. Please god no he thought “We lost her Howie,” she was crying more than before. Caroline had Lupus, a very deadly disease, with no cure. She is Howie’s older sister, and he loves her very much, they are really close. “No, it can’t be true, please, tell me it is not true mom Please!” he screamed, the guys heard him, and came rushing in, they saw Howie, and immedantly knew what happened! “Mom, how? How could she do this to me? Why did she have to leave me?” A.J took the phone from howie, who by now was completely in tears. “Mrs. Dourgh, We will take care of him, you worry about the rest of family, we will help Howie get through this!” A.j told her! “Thanx, I really appreciate it” A.j hung up the phone, turning to Howie, and put his arm around him, and signaled everyone to leave them alone for a while. “Howie, she is a better place” he told him. He sat in silence for a minute not saying a word! “I know A.j” he finally said “But it still hurts” “I know it does, bud…I know it does” A.j told him. Howie sniffed “Know matter what happens Howie, we are brothers and we are always here for each other!” A.j Said “ I know that sometimes it is very hard to believe but, just, because we are pains in the ass, doesn’t mean, we don’t love you!” Howie smiled. “Oh year I rock, you smiled, they suck I did it, I am da’ bomb!” A.J joked Howie laughed and his friends stupidity. “Oh A.J you nice and all, but you suck!” Howie said “How rude!” A.J said back Howie started laughing. “Thanx J I needed that!” Howie said, “Well I guess the concerts cancelled!” A.j said “cause we would have been out there all ready! Say 20 min ago!” A.j left howie alone and went out to the rest of the guys that were patiently waiting outside the door. “How is he?” Nick asked “Good, I made him smile, and he laughed at me” he said “It is very easy to laugh at you” Kevin said “ Your such a dork!” “ I try” He answered Howie came out, and he was not looking good (that really weird, cause I thank he always looks good) “Ready to go D” Kevin asked “Yeah that’s all I wanna do, go home and sleep,” He said “Key people, lets head out” Brian said
Chapter 2 NEXT DAY* “Ring- Ring” went the phone “Hello” Howie answered; he sounded like he didn’t get any sleep. “Howie, you sound terrible” Kimberly said. Kimberly is his Fiancée, and girlfriend of two years. “I fell terrible, and I prob. Look terrible to!” He answered “I am sorry Howie, about you sister, A.J called me last night, and told me everything, I wish I could have been there, and I wish I could come now, but I am stuck in Europe, for another day or to, cause of a storm!” She told him “I wish you could be here two, The guys are great I am sure they will take good care of me until you get here” Howie told her “They better, or some four guys are gnu get their asses kicked” I joked “In that case, they do not have to take care of me cause, I wanna see you kick their asses!” He joked back “That would be really fun” “Ok howie, I gotta get to an interview, okay, I will call you later, love you!” She told him “I love you, to, bye” he answered Kimberly is also a singer, and she is touring in Europe, right as we speak, well not really cause there is a storm over there. But she just finished her tour over there, and will be coming home in a couple days. Howie and her are gunna get married next summer, on the beach, In the evening, when the sun is setting, very romantic. Howie and her met at an award show in Las Angeles, when she preformed her all time hit “Without you” he fell in love with her, now he truly believes in love at first site. He didn’t before he met her. Howie sat down at the kitchen table at his house, the sun was just coming up, and it hurt his eyes to look at it, it was beautiful, Just like Caroline was he thought, he sat there thinking for a while. His train of thought was interrupted when Brian walked in the front door. “Hey D” He said “Hey Brian” howie answered “How you doing” he asked He didn’t answer “Well, your mom called me, to say the funeral is on Saturday, at 3:00 at the at the Orlando general graveyard” brain told him “Thanx” he answered “So when’s Kimberly coming home?” Brian asked “In a couple days, there is a storm over there and her flight was cancelled” Howie answered “Wanna play some ball,” Brian asked “No Thanx bri, I am not in the mood, right” he answered “Well, okay, I will talk to you later okay, oh J is gunna come over after he takes Ashley to the airport.” Brian told him Ashley is A.J’s girlfriend, she live is New York, and she was just visiting for the weekend.
Chapter 3 DAY OF FUNERAL “Howie ready to go?” Kimberly asked “Yeah” he answered “just a minute I have to get my car keys” “Okay I’ll be in the car” she told him Where are they he thought he looked at his watch, OH shit were're gunna be late, here they are! He picked them up of the dresser, and went out to the car They poled up to the parking lot and got out, there was not a lot of people their, just friends and family manly, any one that really knew her. Howie got out and opened the door for Kimberly; he grabbed her hand and the walked over. Howie didn’t really wanna go, but he had to, it was his sister, he just hated to see everyone sad. He hardly was ever down, he was cheerful, but since his sister died he hasn’t really smiled at all. “Howard, I am so glad to see you,” his Aunt Ruth said “Hi Aunt Ruth, how are you?” he answered and hugged her “Good, and you?” she asked “Good, I guess” he answered They walked over to the ceremony, they were just starting the service, everyone was crying, he was not, he just couldn’t even if he tried. Brian, Kevin, A.J and Nick were there, his mom and dad and younger sister Polly and his older brother, aunts and uncles, grandparents and cousin’s, Caroline’s husband Ryan, and there adopted doughtier Angela, were all there. Howie just though Why? Why her, she did not do anything to deserve this. What did I do to deseve this, it’s my falt, I never had hope, it’s all my falt, this happened, I did did not have enough hope, I never expected this to happen. Why! “Howie, you ok?” Kimberly asked him “Yeah” he lied, he felt like dying himself, She didn’t deserve to die, and I do not deseve to live When the funeral was over they went home, Howie went up to his room, and stayed there. Kimberly was scared, he didn’t look good and he hardly talked to anyone. She called the guys to come over. “What is it kimberly?” Brian asked “Howie!” she said and sat down on the couch “ I am worried about him” “We, all are, I think his his sisters death is very hard on him” Nick said They nodded “He goes up in his room and stayes all day, he does’nt eat, if he stayes like this he is gunna end up in the hospital, and I do not wan t that to happen” Kimberlay said and was crying “Kemberly, he is gunna be fine, okey, he is” A.J told her “I really hope so J” she said and hugged him
CHAPTER 4 Days went by and Howie was not doing good, he has got to the point that he won’t even talk to Kemberly, they are all very worried about him. “We need to get him to see a doctor” Ashley said, she was back now cause A.J told her about Howie. “I know but how?” Nick said
A little while later Kimberly came into Howie’s room. “Howie, are you up to eating tonight?” she asked him “Yeah, what did you make?” he asked She was grateful that he said that. “Steak, mashed potatoes, salad, and to drink, Cranberry juice,” she told him “Sounds good” he said and smiled “lets go eat” They went out into the dining room, everyone was happy to see that Howie was joining them. “Smells good” he said “Thank you” Kimberley and Ashley said at the same time, and they all started laughing, even Howie. “Lets eat” A.j said “Lets give A.j what he wants this time” Kimberley said
One year later The guys just finished their last concert of the tour, and were heading home, to rest! “That was a great concert,” Brian said “Yeah it was” Howie said, but was not to excited like the others. Exactly one year ago his sister died, this is the day Howie never wanted to come. He felt sad and lonely.
Kimberley and Howie got married, exactly how they wanted to, it was wonderful, for there honeymoon, they went to Venus, cause that was a place that neither of them had ever been to. They had a wonderful time, and planing on having children in the near future.
A.J and Ashley are engaged to be married next year, there such a cute couple, they all knew they would get hitched someday. A.j was so excited that she said yes.
Howie went back to Caroline’s grave on her birthday, and on the day that she died. He puts a single red rose on her grave. She was the best older sister anyone could ever have. I mean she help him with everything.
He learned a very useful lesson, through his sister. Sometimes it feels like no one cares, like you’re in a world with no feelings, you thank no one cares. But everyone does. Friends are there for each other No matter what happens When you feel like someone has gone and has taken your heart It feels like life is caving in on you Remember friends When you need to talk or a shoulder to cry on, they’re with you all the way. Even though someone you love is gone. Everything might have gone wrong but. Never give up hope!
