Lisa Sutherland's WebPage- EbasEbas

This page of my site is all about a little creature called Ebas. Their names don't mean anything. I just kept saying "Eba" in a weird voice and decided to make it a little character of mine. I started drawing what Ebas might look like when my mom was here on Saturday, February 6th, which is now Eba Day (not really though). Soon I came up with a design. The original Eba had spots on it that were the same color as it's skin. Soon, ebas could be a lot more colors than that. Here is a list of eba color and how rare they are...
COLOR               RARITY
White                  Rare
Brown                Common
Gray                   Common
Yellow                Most Common
Orange               Common
Black                  Rare
Ebas could also be spotted or striped. The spots or stripes are never colored a different color from the eba's skin unless it is a VERY rare eba though. Ebas also have a wide variety of things they like to eat too. They like biscuits, grass, worms, fish, carrots, apples, strawberries, cherries, and bread. They have enemies and preditors like other animals too. There enemies are cats because ebas think cats are evil and they are jealous of cats climbing abilites. An eba's preditors are lions, wolves, sharks, and bears. Though they can barely climb at all, they are able to run almost as fast as a cheetah. When an eba senses danger or is mad, it will curl up it's ears into the shape of a spiral and start hissing. One way ebas could attack is by slapping, clawing, biting, and kicking. If they feel they are unable to win the fight, they will jump away. They can jump high and far.
Ebas are very nice to humans though. To show affection for a human, ebas will rub up against their leg. If a human tries to point at an eba for some reason, the eba will take the humans finger and nibble on it. It doesn't hurt though.
Ebas usually live together in families of no more than 8 members. Those 8 members usually have the same colors, but sometimes they don't. Every once in a while, ebas split up to gather food for the family. They eat the food the find for a while and then repeat the gathering process. If an eba is really hungry, it may start to act destructive. An eba might be destructive by pulling on other eba's ears and feet or slapping them. If an eba hasn't eaten in 2 weeks, it could die. An eba can live up to 80 years. When an eba in the family dies, the other family members bury it and sing a sad song.
Ebas have a lot of hobbies that humans also have. They like to play hockey, volleyball, jump ropes, videogames, television, computers, boxing, wrestling, bowling, and dodge ball.
Also, ebas have their own language called Eba language, ofcourse. In this language, they say parts of their name. A few ebas, about 30 percent, are actually able to speak a human language. Most of those ebas speak English, but others they can speak include French, Chinese, Italian, and just about any human language. Most, 60 percent, do speak Eba language though. 10 percent aren't even able to speak at all. This is usually from a disorder at birth called Ebalorosis. This is caused if the mother of the disabled eba is dying when the eba is born.
Ebas can live just about anywhere. They can live in trees, in the ocean, in deserts, rain forest, marshy areas, ect. That is most of the information that is known about ebas.
I also have a couple of pictures of ebas, which are shown below.
