Fade in on sometime later
Jordan walks over to the edge of the cliff. He consoles his mother. He notices the book that fell out of Sebastian’s jacket pocket. The cover reads “Nowhere by Sebastian Cole”. Jordan opens the book and flips through a few pages.
Fade in
The yellow light from the cigarette lighter flickers on and off again through the blackness. The light shines and we see the outline of a man’s face. He reaches his hand above us and turns on a switch. A light is turned on. The camera pulls back as we recognize the abandoned school but now it is fixed up. The man smiles. He turns and walks into the school.
Sebastian V.O: What is a hero? Someone who performs brave deeds? Someone who posses noble qualities? Someone who performs admirable deeds? Someone who is famous? To define a hero is a like allowing our lives to be published for all to see? Through of choice to support our heroes speaks volumes about us.
The camera slowly begins to fade to black
Sebastian V.O: They reveal our individual values and commitment to preserve the good qualities that lack in the world around us. But why do wee need them, assuming they exist? How do we choose them? Or do they choose us? Does yesteryear’s hero still inspire today’s one? Are heroes still important in this word?
The camera fades to black
Sebastian V.O: Indeed, because I exist.
