9/21/08... So again its been many months since I've updated... but I actually finally got to see the tapes from last winter's shows with Psycohol, and also borrowed info. from X-Loco's page, to update the RESULTS page... and I don't have exact dates on shows 101-110, nor do I have results for 110 at all, but I got as muc as I know updated... and full results for shows 111-113 which Psyco was in... also, he made a guest stop this past August in NY, for a 1-show deal, where he was in a 3-way dance with WMX and X-Loco, and ended up re-forming the DOE w/ WMX! They went on an NYC trip afterwards, where they explained how they had to get together to prove their superiority over the New Reich... unfortunately at the show, Hack no-showed, so it could not be proven, but they beat down Loco instead! Mr. Ex and Splooge also made appearances, as they did back last Dec./Jan. too! I am trying to get all the facts together to fully update the results and champions pages, but it might take some digging, or maybe WMX just watchin' the shows and letting me know what happened and when!!! Alright I'll let you know when I've updated, and also if there are any shows, which there haven't really been too many since the 10th Anniversary! Only a couple small ones, and then Psycohol's summer visit, no others since that...
10/4/08... Okay, I've been doing some major updating for all you guys out there!!! I have finally updated all the current shows' results! Before I only had sketchy results and no specific dates or show titles for all shows after the 100th... but now (thanks to a lengthy talk with Wolfman X on the phone), I have been updated and I've got all the show titles, dates, and match results posted here, and have separated the EWA Post-Oneonta Shows from this "New Era"! So look on the Results page, and the newest link to see what's happened since I've stopped updating regularly! Also I updated the Champions Page all the way to the current Champions, with dates and how they won the Titles and all that! I also separated all the champions after Psycohol left to Hawaii with the belt from that generation, and made all since a "New generation"..... I plan on updating more, namely the win-loss records(my current win-loss records only cover thru show #100, no further), and gotta update "Title Facts" to current conditions... and I was thinking of writing the whole list of EWA World, IC, Jobber, etc. Champions from 1 thru whatever as a sublink, so you have the option of seeing the full timeline of champions, or looking at how I have it now, where they are separated into "Revolutions"... not sure what else I wanna do, but I want this website back up-to-date, and to still be the best PXW/EWA website out there for anyone interested! I'll let you know if I make more updates... Psycohol also intends to extend his autobiography to include his last few trips to NY into it!!! So keep checking back.... From Hawaii, this has been Rich Head... Aloha O'e!
10/5/08... Okay, just made a couple quick updates... I updated the "Interesting Title Facts" Page which has a link on the Champions Page... and also on the Champions Page, I added a link at the top of the EWA section to see the unbroken Title History of all it's Titles... because as I have been doing it, all the Champs had been broken down into Revolutions and Era's of the EWA, and were #'ed within each era, and not overall, but I have just done a full list of champs in a row, and we've got exactly 40 World Champs right now! So check it out!!! Will update some more if I get the chance...
10/7/08... Okay, new pics up on the Various Pics page!!! FINALLY you say!!! Yes, Richard is Head is for the 1st time in years IN THE MOOD to update update update, and it doesn't feel like a chore! Also, I updated the Teams/Stables page a bit, would like to get a DOX picture though for that *cough*WMX**cough*Drixon*cough*.... send me a pic!!! What else... well, got Loco's, Hack's, and Gorebelly's pics up on the EWA Profile Page, just haven't written anything about em yet... will soon though, probly just steal ideas from Loco's page though, haha... was gonna go update the EWA's myspace page too, but seemed to tedious... we'll see, I added one show on their results blog... I hope you're all checking in, and I'm not doing this for nothin'... later!
10/10/08... Okay, so I got the Win-Loss Records finally updated, and looks like WMX finally passed Psycohol in total wins and # of matches, since Psyco's been in Hawaii the past few years! Also wrote profile info. for the new guys... and pretty much everything on this page is updated to the current EWA happenings... so my job is done for now, but there may be a few more little things that I can tweak on this site if I put my mind to it... I'll let you know if there are any more updates, or if the EWA has any more shows... for now, as of the last time I spoke with WMX, he said no shows were planned... the EWA is NOT dead, its just dormant because of the lack of talent... just doing the shows over and over with the same few guys gets repetitive and right now, the EWA will probably only be holding special shows like if former superstars happen to show up and wanna wrestle... and who knows, maybe they'll find new talent and start having shows again... nobody knows, but I'll keep you updated on stuff... maybe put a page for wrestlers personal info... kinda like Title Facts, but talk about who's married, who's got kids, where they are now, stuff like that, check in later!
10/24/08... If you haven't noticed, the layout on the page is slightly different for the links above! They are no longer just a long list that you gotta read thru to find something... now my pages are all separated into categories so you won't be bored by a list and can get to stuff faster... also I added a "Where Are They Now?" Page! A brand new page for you all to enjoy, in case you're wondering about the whereabouts of current and past EWA/PXW Superstars! I did my best, and am not positive if all the information is correct... if anyone reading knows anything I don't about these stars, or stars that I have not listed, please write me and I'll update the list as soon as possible! Thanks for everything, and keep an eye out for Psycohol's Autobiography, he may update it sometime soon...
12/12/08... So there's actually some news folks! EWA just had it's 1st show since Psycohol left last August! On December 7th, they held EWA 118: Tournament of Champions! WMX came out to announce that a tournament would be held for his World Title, and he would be participating himself... so say he lost in the 1st round, he would be out, and not be able to defend his Title and a new champion would be guaranteed! He also announced that if anyone in the tourney defeated Gorebelly, they would the new IC Champ too! After he left, Keven James' wife Maggi came out and announced that since Cool Jen hated being ref, and had basically quit, a new ref for the EWA was to be appointed! She then proceeded to introduce a new face to the EWA, Miami Red!!! So with this new redhead femme fatale as the EWA's ref, were things to soon change?! Okay, onto Round 1 of the 8-Man Tournament of Champions! Keven James making a long awaited return, against Gorebelly! I guess this means it was for the IC Title then... in the end after a surprising suplex and half Boston Crab, Keven James took the win and the IC Gold with him! The 2nd match was a big one, pretty much Main Event Caliber! Wolfman X defending his Title against X-Loco!!! And you remember all that stuff I said earlier about if WMX loses this match?! Well... his leg got stuck, and he was rolled up, yes, he lost this match!!!!! X-Loco was moving on in the tourney, and WMX has seemingly lost his World Title! Oh he must have been pissed!!! The next match was Face vs. Dr. Evil... we haven't seen Evil for awhile either, he must've hitched a ride with his brotha Keven today... anyways, Face took him out rather easily and moved on! In the final 1st round match(like it was necessary, cuz neither of these guys had a chance), Suicide faced Ninja! Suicide took the win to move on to a hopeless fight against Face in the next round! After this, in an impromptu match, te Ninja started getting mad at the ref, Miami Red, claiming that she was spreading rumors to WMX about things he said about him! Miami Red proceeded to kick his arse and pin him as Suicide made the count for her! I guess she really does belong in the EWA!!! Sometime around here, or maybe somewhere else in the show, WMX was hanging around, and out came Teddy Girl, another old face, a bit more grown up than when we last saw her as a kid! She said that she was told to come back when she was older, and now she was 16 and wanted to wrestle again! WMX said at the net show if she impresses him, then it'd be a possibility... Round 2 then came, as Keven James and X-Loco took to the frozen yard(yes, it was cold out this day)! X-Loco took the win over the veteran K.J., but not his IC Belt, cuz it was not on the line after Gore had lost it... so X-Loco moved forward... Face then took on Suicide and obviously obliterated him, leaving the Finals for the tourney to be Face vs. X-Loco... one of these two men would walk out the World Champion! In the back, we then saw WMX counting some money... he saw the camera, got mad and told them to leave... but the cameraman was really sneaky and curious that day, cuz he came back to see WMX puting on some clothes that looked familiar... he saw the cameraman again and told em to scram! Now onto Face vs. X-Loco! Face was acting sort of peculiar and unlike himself! His moves were not his regular set... after a short while, X-Loco charged him with a hubcap, and Face lifted up the Big Boot to return the car part into his face! Face took the quick pinfall for the win! Before any celebration, Face took off his mask, revealing himself to be none other than Wolfman X, posing to be Face!!! Now how could this be?! How can this count and be fair?! Apparently WMX was counting his $$$ earlier to get $1000 to give to Face for his clothes... Face took the $$$ over the Title Shot! Apparently the EWA suits said although this wasn't fair, it was WMX who was in the outfit and did the pinning, so he gets to keep the Title! What a crock! I mean I've seen a lot of screwjobs in my day, but for WMX to lose in the 1st round, and somehow do this underhanded cheap tactic to keep his belt... it's just terrible@! If I were running things, he would have been stripped immediately, but I am not! Anyways, after the match, WMX challenged Loco to an X vs. X Match at the next show! The loser has to drop the X from his name!!! Big things at stake!!! And that show should be within the next week or two, so I'll let you know what goes on!
7/15/09... Oh wow, its been like 7 months since I last updated! Well... are ya ready for some news?! 6+ months of no new EWA shows... 2009 had seen not one EWA Show as of yet, and finally on June 28th, it happened! The latest start ever for the EWA in its past 11 years! Are they finally showing some age, slowing down, losing talent? Time will tell... but on this day, they put on one helluva show! For the opening WMX came out rambling on about how he is 30 years old now, and almost everyone in the EWA from the beginning is around 30 years old now! He talked about his open challenge to Ground Zero for a 30 vs. 30 year old match, and how GZ has yet to respond... WMX suddenly gets a phone call, and its none other than our Hawaiian bruddah Psycohol! He starts talkin to Psyc, then apparently Psyc tells him that he can hear WMX's voice in real life... WMX is like "WHAT?!" Psycohol makes his entrance and return to the EWA! The EWA has only had one show since Psycohol returned last, one year ago... sad! Anyways, Psyco and WMX talk a bit, the DOE is back, and then Psyco asks him about this 30 vs. 30 thing, and thinks he's got a resolution! Psyco thinks it should be himself vs. WMX in a 30 vs. 30 match!!! WMX refuses to fight his friend, but Psyco insists, and in fact wants it to be a bloody knockout beatdown brawl, a friendly bloody brawl!!! WMX says NO WAY! Psyco laughs and says ok, but he'll find a way! So onto the matches... to start things off, Face had an open challenge, and his mystery opponent was none other than Mr. Splooge straight from Hawaii where he's been living with Psycohol for the past year or so... Splooge was his silly self as he got dominated by Face and finished with a Flying Headbutt! Face took the win! WMX then comes out and lays out an open challenge for a title shot... the music hits, and out comes IC Champ Keven James up in WMX's face! But he's got a sprained hand how's he gonna fight?! Who knows, but he punches WMX a couple times as someone else's music plays! Psycohol runs out and rolls WMX quickly for a 1,2,3 by ref Keven James! Keven wasn't the opponent, just a shady cheap-shottin' ref! Psyco was the challenger! WMX was pissed and wondered what was going on! Psyco seemed upset too, saying that KJ was supposed to be the ref, and shouldn't have been hitting WMX and acting like an opponent! Psyco and WMX both beat down Keven James! Psyc says he's sorry for tricking WMX into this match he didn't want and no longer needs that bloody match he called for before! WMX has a revelation though, and now realizing Psycohol is one-up on him in career win-losses against each other, his ego could not let him NOT take Psyco's earlier challenge! WMX needed to win back his pride and told Psyco that bloody brawl, that Hospital Match was now on! The first man to bring their opponent to the Hospital would be the winner! Psycohol agreed, and stressed that they would still be friends no matter what! Then Mr. Execution made a surprise appearance, claiming he was not at the show to wrestle, but to ask Psycohol if he could possibly move to Hawaii and live wit him, since he'd finally saved up all this money over the years, while living on the railroad tracks! He walked off, awaiting a response... Next up, Drixon Webb came out of retirement for a quick 20 second Handicap Match against Suicide and Putty Man! Indeed, he whooped down on Suicide in no time, then grabbed Putty Man, Suplexed him and pinned his @$$! Following the match, Suicide was a bit frustrated at such a quick loss and immediately challenged Putty Man to a match, since he was the one that was pinned! Putty agreed and they had a short match, where Putty Man in his new ghetto-thug bandana(instead of regular brown hat) gave Suicide a quick rollup for the win! Psycohol then came out to respond to Mr. Executions request to move to Hawaii... Psyco said there's no way he'd let Ex live WITH him, but if Ex could win a simple match, Psyco might let him come to Hawaii and show him around the place and get him settled... all he would have to do is defeat the Ninja.... but by conventional rules.... since this show was about being 30 years old, Psyco put the stip that Ex would hafta pin Ninja's shoulders to the ground for 30 seconds to win the match! Ex agreed and the match was on! Ex mostly beat on the Ninja, and at first could only get his shoulders down for 4 to 5 seconds, but after a little working he got him to 29, before a surprise kickout! Ex was mad, and eventually hit a flipping chinbreaker from the table to get Ninja down for 30 seconds and his ticket to Hawaii! Finally, in the Main Event, Psycohol faced Wolfman X one on one for the first time in quite awhile, and this was in the friendliest and most violewnt of terms! It was for the World Title to, since Psyco won the title shot earlier! I'm not gonna go into much detail, but they got pretty brutal, with VCR's, Computer Moniters, Casio Keyboards, Pans, Hubcaps, Chairs, Boxes and all sorts of good things! Both men were bleeding profusely from the head at various times! Psyco worked WMX's ankle with the chair a bit, WMX sledgehammered Psycohol's face, lots of fun stuff! Not all the regular wrestling stuff we're used to seeing between these two, but definitely a very good match for two 30 year olds! They've still got it, despite possible ring-rust, possible age-factor... the still got what they always had! They ain't 40 yet! We'll see in 10 years how they're doing hahaha! Anyways, WMX pulled out all stops with 12 or so Blitzkrieg Powerbombs in a row on variou surfaces! He threw Psycohol into the back of his car and got in to drive to the hospital... but the hood popped up, Psyco wasn't done yet apparently! WMX brought him back into the yard and gave him a couple more Blitzkriegs! How many would it take to keep the insane Daredevil down?! WMX started to go for #15, when Psycohol somehow managed to reverse it into a Frankensteiner! But thats all he had in him, cuz WMX eventually got up, gave him #15 and brought him back to the car and drove him to the hospital! They got there, and WMX pulled Psyco outta the trunk and delivered him to a couple nurses outside, who brought the bloody Psycohol inside to treat him! The match was over, Wolfman X was your winner and still champion, evening out his record with Psycohol! Back to Hawaii for Psyco, and Splooge, and Ex now! When will the EWA resurface?! Will they have only a one-show year, or as rumored, will X-Loco return and maybe they'll have a few more shows? We will see, and I will let you know! Thanks all, I'm out!
10/1/09... I know I haven't checked in for awhile, but with EWA only holding one show in the year 2009 so far, I'd say we're going for a record-low amount of shows this year fo sho! But the real reason I'm checking in, is I heard rumor that on October 11th, there may possibly be a show! So keep your eyes open, and call WMX to find out for sure! I'll let you know what I know!
12/11/09... Sorry I haven't gotten on in awhile, I've been busy lately with the Holidays and as Psycohol's band "False Crack's" Tour Manager... we've taken a few trips to the Big Island, played all over this one, and are planning a West Coast U.S. Tour this summer possibly! Check his band out at www.myspace.com/funxcore, you won't be disappointed! Straight-up fast but silly Hardcore Punk, which they have dubbed Funcore! Anyways, there was an EWA Show a couple months back, in October I believe, and I never had a chance to update til now! It was EWA 120: Day of Destruction 2009! So you know what that means, all matches are stipped! WMX opened the show, stating the sad state of the EWA, being that it was October, and this was only the second, and possibly last show of the year!!! The slowest year since they began over 10 years ago! WMX then goes on about several challenges he's made, trying to draw bigger names, like famous people into the EWA to either appear or actually fight him!!! He challenged a guy in Florida while visiting Ground Zero earlier who had trained with Ted Dibiase Jr., he challenged several fighting stars such as King Kong Bundy, Kimbo Slice, Mohammed Ali and George Foreman, by emailing or Myspacing them! He also asked his all-time favorite comedian Andrew Dice Clay to show up for comic relief.... but no answers from any of them..... WMX then made an open challenge for an Anarchy Rules Match, which is about when EWA's new Commish debuted, Snake-Eater! I don't know much about this guy, since I'm in Hawaii, and they're in NY, and I dunno how he got the job either, but ok, I guess he's the new boss in town? He sets up the Anarchy Rules Match to be Wolfman Lair, First Blood, Fire, TKO, and Submission, and I dunno if it's established at this time or not, but it was to be against X-Loco in that X vs. X Match that they had planned about a year earlier to see who gets to keep the "X" in their name, and who's gotta dump it! Anyways, Snake Eater sets up the 1st Match, himself vs. WMX in a TKO Match!!! Obviously WMX is gonna squash him right? Nope! I don't know exactly what happened, but Snake-Eater did something a little underhanded I think, and knocked WMX down to take a cheap and momentous victory over Wolfman in the 1st match of his career! Snake has something now that pretty much nobody else in the EWA has.... a one-up on WMX in wins!!! Very shocking! WMX has to be pissed! Next Match was Face vs. Gorebelly in an "I Quit" Match! This has to be the stupidest idea ever, cuz neither man can speak proper English! I mean Face did for awhile, but I think he lost that again! Anyways, it was a good brawl with back and forth action, but as was inevitable, the match had to be stopped and declared a "No Contest" since neither man(or monster?) could physically say those 2 words! In the 3rd Match, Drixon Webb made a return from retirement to face off against Suicide in a Chain Match! For some weird reason, Suicide summoned a new power to kick arse every time he got hit in the head! So if Drix hit him in the head, Suicide stopped being a total wimp for a minute and would whoop down some pain! But it didn't stop the monster from Hell-A, Drixon, who eventually won the match as predicted! In the final match of the day, WMX faced off against X-Loco, in what was decide the fate of their gimmick-name for the rest of their careers! It may have still been an open challenge, and when Loco came out, they may have made it this X vs. X match, or it may have been set earlier, I'm not sure, but it was a helluva match! WMX took the early lead with a win in the TKO stip, knocking Loco down 3 times, but Loco came back with a win in the Fire stip, giving WMX an "FU" onto a board laid across a tire which was lit on fire! X-Loco didn't stop there, as he also defeated WMX in the 1st Blood portion with a Bowling Ball shot to Wolfman's face! To avoid elimination however, WMX tied the contest by making XL submit to the WMX Legbar Hold!!! For the final fall, and victory, both men were on the edge, and in the end, after a DVD Player placed on a head and slammed with a Sledgehammer for the 10-count Wolfman Lair win, Wolfman X stood victorious over the pounded X-Loco... err, I mean Loco for the win!!! X-Loco could no longer use his "X", so that is the last time you'll ever see me use it from this date on, he is now only known as "Loco" after this show!!! WMX began chanting "Wolfman X, Loco, Wolfman X, Loco..." and so on! The show was over! No news on when the next is, but the EWA isdefinitely slowly coming to a halt it seems after all these years... all the dedicated old faces, and even newer faces seem to be having less interest, or maybe less time to do it... I know if Psyco were back there, it would still be on the regular, and if WMX had more guys, he would keep it flowing, but Psyco is having awesome fun with his band here in Hawaii, and WMX hasn't found anyone else to replace the guys who have lost that interest... so for now, the EWA becomes like what the PXW had become long ago.... dormant, maybe with a show here and there whenever certain guys can get together! It's sad, but inevitable... we'll see, maybe I'm wrong, and I hope I am, but just because this may be happening, does NOT by any means mean the EWA is Dead... the EWA will NEVER die, and will always come back one way or another! It will never be down for 10! I can't wait for the next show, no matter how long I gotta wait!!! I'm so proud they made it to 120! Good job EWA for all the years of excellence!
6/16/10...First update of the year, and it's halfway through June... and there's nothing really to update! That's right, no shows since last October or something! Biggest EWA drought ever! But look for it to continue, with everyone growing up and all, moving here and there, getting married, working, this and that! It's natural that this wouldn't be consistent forever... The fact that the EWA lasted as long as it did with consistent shows year in and year out, was amazing as it was, for guys moving on 30 years old, and ya gotta give everyone credit for keeping the spirit alive! But now, jobs and reality has finally caught up with them, and the EWA may be a once-in-awhile thing like it was always bound to eventually... they always said "EWA For Life!" and "As Long as I'm Still Breathing, There Will Be n EWA!", and neither of those phrases are at all untrue! EWA is for life, and runs through the veins, in the blood of every single one of these Backyard Superstars! As long as WMX or Psyco continues to live, indeed there will be occasional shows, whenever their paths cross, you can bet on that! But as for the Glory Days, the Revolutions, the different Eras, the whole swapout of Rosters for a New Generation of Wrestlers... those days may be over... with Psycohol 5000 miles away from Wolfman X(the 2 wrestlers who truly kept this thing running, also Natas when he used to care), it doesn't look like there's ever gonna be another 15 show year... another 10 show year is even unlikely... another 5 show year? We'll see, WMX is kind out of Backyard Wrestling now, and sees no reason to be excited over it without any real talent and his job and kid, etc.... Psyco is in Hawaii singing for a band and working 2 jobs... if ever Psyco moves back to NY, there's always a possibility for something... but running 2-man shows gets old fast, and Psyco has no immediate plans for moving away from Hawaii... anyways, I don't want to say all this to bring darkness or closure to the EWA Legacy... I'm just stating what I believe to be the truth, and I will continue updating this site, even if it has nothing to do with wrestling, just to mention what is going on with former EWA or PXW Stars! Psycohol for example has actually recorded a new Song with False Crack entitled "Backyard Wrestling" and is one of the bands favorite new tunes! Go check it out on Facebook, just search "False Crack", go to their page and find the song, it's inspired by all his EWA experiences! Other good news, Psycohol has bought tickets to come back home again on October 11th, the exact date 5 years previous that he flew out to Hawaii the first time! So on his 5th Anniversary away from New York, he will return! And hopefully he will be bringing Splooge and Execution with him, who both live out there with him! I would definitely be anticipating a return of the EWA for 2 or 3 shows during that period, so come back and check for an update after that, if I don't update anything earlier! See you later folks, EWA 4 Life!!!
10/26/10... Richard Head here reporting from New York, where 2 shows have occurred over the past 2 weeks, with Psycohol, Splooge and Execution returning from Hawaii to participate... sure, they are all heading back to the Islands along with myself in just 2 days, but we had a good vacation, with a couple Halloween-themed shows, called the "Universal Horror Show 2010" and "Halloween Hell"! I will give brief updates later on, after I get back to Hawaii and settled in! Just sit patient til then... I'll try to update the results and win-loss records if I can, so you can see who fought who... catch you soon!
11/3/10... Wow, just noticed I still had 2007-08 bulletins up on this main page, I feel like I don't get here too often anymore..... well, deleted 'em to the "Old News" section.... anyways, now to update you on what you missed in the past few weeks! If last year seemed like a bad year and late start for the EWA, then this year takes the cake! From January through mid-October, not one show was put on by the EWA! A new record in absence! But let's be real... many of these guys have either moved away, got married, got kids, have busy jobs, are putting childish things behind them, or just feeling their age... but thats okay! Psycohol and Wolfman X made a pact "EWA for Life!" If there's only one show every two years, or every 5 years, that's even okay... at least there's still one or two a year... they're in their 30's... how many people who were backyard wrestling 10-15 years ago are still doing it at all? Probly not too many... anyways as I said before, onto the shows! I'm not gonna go detail for detail on what happened, its 11pm and I gotta wake up at 5 in the morning tomorrow... but here's the jist! Wolfman X came up with a crazy idea, since that Psycohol was coming home in October around Halloween, to play a huge joke on the EWA! So him and Psyco concocted a plan to have Dr. Evil bring back the Wolfman, Frankenstein, and the 2 Gorillas, who the DOE have single-handedly killed in the past few years and have them terrorize the federation! Dr. Evil seems to be a terrible meth-addict now, but with the help of DOE bringing him bodyparts or whatever, he resurrects the 4 monsters and they end up fighting each other and attacking others... that was the treat! But the trick was that all the characters from the monsters to even Dr. Evil himself were played by both Psyco and WMX, and they unmask at the end of the 2nd show to reveal to everyone that it was them running around doing this, and that the real monsters weren't actually back, but still under the ground! Okay, so now that the overall plot of the 2 shows that happened in October 2010 is revealed, I will now go into highlights... the 1st show "Universal Horror Show 2010" started with Ninja being beaten down by Psycohol and a little kid named Ethan, and not getting the ice cream he wanted... Also, Splooge(also seemingly back visiting from Hawaii with Psyco) was walking to the show and got "pantsed" in public by Wolfman X... this leads to the two idiots to open the show and challenge each respective member of the DOE who humiliated them... Psyco and WMX don't like the idea of fighting Jobbers for their Main Events, but since nobody else showed up, accept the challenge... Psyco twists it to make the matches more interesting, saying he wants his match with Ninja to be a 20 move vs. 3 move match... Psyco will pick any 20 moves out of his arsenal and have to hit them all to win the match, whereas Ninja only has to pick and hit 3 to even out the handicap of his stupidity... WMX likes the idea and wants the same match with Splooge! In the undercard, Face beats Putty Man and Execution returning from Hawaii TOO, beats Suicide! Wolfman X then fights Splooge... Splooge gets 2 of his moves down(including a Missing Savate Kick{missing a move counts as a move?!?!}), but WMX hits all his 20 before Splooge can hit his 3rd move(which happened to be WMX's own finisher the Blitzkrieg{there's no way Splooge could lift WMX up for that, what an idiot, he made himself lose!}) Psycohol soon fought Ninja.... and do you expect me to write a huge recap of that Main Event? Of course not, cuz we all know that Psycohol defeats Ninja, like he always does(except when sleeping)! Yup, Psyco hit his 20 moves and takes the win... Onto Show #2, which was dubbed "Halloween Hell" some matches ended up being left out or changed completely due to who showed up, or just plain forgetting to have them, since it was already a packed card, but hey, it happens... there's always next year.... anyways... its Halloween, so the DOE dresses up! WMX is a NY Yankee, and is mad cuz they lost and were out of the playoffs the night before... Psycohol was a bit more elaborate in costume and persona, as he charged out face-painted and all to the Ultimate Warrior's theme music! Yup Psycohol shook the invisible ropes, snorted, called upon the Gods, and talked to his Warriors all the way through the opening... WMX announced a Survivor Series style match, which ended up never happening, so I dunno why I'm mentioning it... Psycohol came out of "Warrior" character to address the Ninja and challenge him to a quick "Corkscrew Plancha Match" since the camera missed his Corkscrew Plancha in the 20 moves match at the last show! 3 Corkscrews for the win... and we all know Ninja can even come close to doing that move! So right after the opening, Psyco, dressed as the Warrior fights Ninja in a quick rematch and hits 3 Corkscrew Planchas and wins! Psyco came out again, a 2nd match in a row?! Yep! Loco came out, no longer X-Loco, just Loco.... cuz he lost that X vs. X match with WMX.... So Psycohol gets tossed around by Loco for like 20 minutes... and he delivers some sweet offense too, but in the end, Psyco wins it with a Moonsault or something from the table and then a Standing Moonsault! He may be the smaller man, but he's got years more experience on the giant youngster(oh yeah, Loco lost a lot of weight since we last saw him, so he ain't as giant as he was)... Splooge then shocked the world as he came out to reintroduce the EWA Loserweight Title, and asked for any challengers... Drixon, Loco and Keven James all came out sequentially and defeated the greatest Loserweight Champion ever back to back to back! The apparent EWA Commish Snake-Eater came out to ban WMX from the EWA or something, but WMX no like! WMX hooked him up in a nasty Full Nelson, called for a ref, which ended up being his buddy Psycohol, and made Snake tap out ion this impromptu match, and from what I've heard, he broke Snake's neck and the Commish may be outta commission for the rest of his days... Splooge then went on another classic Loserweight rampage, kinda like the old days... starting with Gorebelly... Splooge nearly murdered in that one, so he decided to pick on little kids like he always eventually stoops to... good ol' Lizzi M'Gizzi beat him down like the old days, and her younger sister Courtney and baby Brother Nicholas both somehow beat Splooge without even wanting to fight him... still your Loserweight Champion! Next came what was dubbed I believe as the "Monster Rumbe" or something along those lines... 3 people in at a time, when one's eliminated, another wrestler waiting to enter could come in... and to eliminate, you had to hit your Finishing Move! So Putty, Face, Suicide, Gorebelly, Splooge, Loco, Psycohol, Ninja, WMX, and Mr. Ex all participated and showed up in that order, but to make this short, Loco ended up lasting til the end, finishing Mr. Execution with his Buzzsaw Kick and became "King of the Monsters!" Splooge then wanted to have one final try at getting rid of the Loserweight Title before having to head back to Hawaii with it... he challenged WMX, who tricked him into laying down and being pinned without resistance... then Face beat Splooge up... then Splooge had had enough and challenged his old buddy Ninja... for Halloween Splooge and Ninja both dressed up...... as EACH OTHER! It was hilarious, Splooge pretending to be like Ninja, and even had his black Splooge mask visible through the Ninja mask's eyeholes! Ninja had the Splooge mask and shirt on... looked like a giant Mr. Splooge! They had a funny battle as they always do, but somehow, maybe with the infused powers of the Ninja, Splooge pulls off a slight upset and beats the Ninja(who's dressed as Splooge)! Although it's confusing who's who, Ninja was now the Loserweight Champion to hold and defend if any other shows occur.... in the Main Event for the show, it was supposed to be a Survivor Series, but WMX and Psyco instead want a Tag Match, the Doctors of Extreme vs. ANYBODY! Two guys come from the back who we've never seen before! Malice and Pyro are their names! They put up a good fight, and apparently have never backyard wrestled before! They held their own, and showed potential, but in the end the DOE Device Finisher put 'em away and the DOE celebrated their victory! Following that, they revealed the whole Halloween trick I mentioned at the beginning and the show was over! Psyco, Splooge, and Ex were headed back to Hawaii.... and uh, me too..... yeah, so we are back in hawaii now, its hot over here, and we can't wait til our next visit! Hopefully the EWA will have a show or two by then? If not, Psycohol will bring it! I'll update if anything happens! Seeya!
1/9/11... Alright, some bad news here, but hopeful at the same time... not long before the New Year, EWA's World Champion Wolfman X had a terrible pain in his stomach area, so he went down with his girlfriend Frankie to the hospital to check it out. They kept him overnight, and ended up finding that he had a gall-stone or something in his Pancreas... I'm not sure exactly what happened from there, but I believe they got the stone out, and from there his Pancreas became inflamed and he got a pretty bad case of Pancreatitis. They had to put him under, and feed him with tubes, and he could not breathe on his own, they were breathing for him, however that is done. WMX was in critical condition, and all his friends, all the wrestlers have been worried and praying for the big man to get better! Over here in Hawaii, Psycohol and myself feel helpless, we can't visit or anything, but at least his girl Frankie is keeping WMX's Facebook updated daily on his progress! I guess he has gotten better, he had some liquid somewhere inside him called a pseudocyst which was making it hard for him to breathe on his own, and the last I've heard, he got surgery to take that out, and did well... he's still asleep and is slowly progressing, but he is progressing! He is not getting worse. That's great... a week ago, I don't wanna say it, but I will, I was told it could go either way... and we were so scared and sad over here, but things are looking up, and all we can do it hope and pray that the Wolfman will be awake and out of that hospital and back to being himself someday soon! He is the Extreme God, he does have the strength of 10 men, he is Wolfman X, he CANNOT DIE! Wolfman.... GET BETTER ASAP! Everybody wants you back! We'll seeya next time we come home brotha!
1/12/11... So yesterday I talked with WMX's girlfriend Frankie, and she told me that this whole ordeal with Wolfman has been really tough... the Doctors will give hopeful news one day, then say something else and take "two steps back" in his recovery... the fluid in his pseudocyst was taking longer to drain than expected, and they said that if he didn't start breathing on his own by today, they would have to perform a Tracheotomy to help him breathe easier and lead to recovery... today I checked on WMX's Facebook, which is where I'm getting a lot of the updates, and a message was up that Wolfman was breathing on his own today for the first time in weeks and could talk a little! This is exciting news and a big step for everyone who loves and knows the big man! So it's looking more hopeful than ever and if he gets well enough to make some calls and talk with people, I will update you all! Wolfman X is one of the genuinely real and good guy human beings on this planet! His ways are different, and if you met him, you would see how unique he really is, and how much of a privilege it is to know the guy. I'm not even thinking about wrestling now, I'm just praying for a full recovery and for everything to go as well as it can! Wolfman X, Richard Head, Psycohol, Splooge, and Execution out in Hawaii all send our best hopes and we WILL SEE YOU when we come home next November! ***UPDATE*** So thinking about whats happening with WMX made Psycohol think back on stuff and he just began continuing his Autobiography that hasn't been updated in quite awhile... so I guess he had some written that he didn't realize WAS NOT on the site, and he also added a few new paragraphs today, and he's about up through his NY Trip where he first fought X-Loco, winning and losing the World Title in a 3-Show spree... where you probably last read, was right after Psyco originally took the Title to Hawaii from NY, but now a bunch has been added, so check that out! He's still got a few more trips home to catch up on and write about, but he's getting there... also, the BIG NEWS is that I have talked to Frankie again, and Wolfman is indeed Breathing on his Own like reported earlier, and he has been awake and calm, and has listened to what's going on, and hopefully will not have to be sedated anymore! His pancreas is still quite inflamed, but now that his body is working better, it should be able to heal faster we're hoping! So very good news there, and if he gets well enough to talk on the phone, I'm sure he'll be giving Psycohol a call sooner or later, and I will let you all know what's happening! Go Wolfman! You can Doooo Iiiit!!!!!!
1/18/11... Sorry for the late Update, but this past Saturday, Psycohol went on a hike to the spot where he fought the crazy hiker dude back at EWA100 on the top of a mountain in Hawaii... Psyco'd been thinking about Wolfman X, who had been sedated in the hospital for weeks in critical condition, and wanted to hike to this spot, since it was the closest he could get to the EWA in Hawaii... at the peak, he gave WMX's phone a call, hoping to get Frankie for an update, but got no answer.... a few minutes later he got a call from Frankie, and to his, mine, and everyone else's surprise she put him on the phone with Wolfman X! That's right, Wolfman X was awake and able to talk on the phone! Psycohol talked with the Wolfman for most of his way back down the steep trail, forgetting the danger of possibly losing his footing and falling hundreds of feet... well... Psyco didn't fall, but he was super excited to talk with his fellow DOE pal Wolfman X... and Psyco updated me that WMX still has a way to go, and was still tired and recovering as they talked, but Psyco thinks WMX will be back 100% given time, and hopefully back to his own home within a week or less... I'll let you all know any further updates on WMX! Thanks for all the praying, WMX pulled through!
2/4/11... Just a quick update, WMX is back in the hospital again, with a bit of internal bleeding or something like that... he's been home for a few weeks, and has been on insulin, having to take like 4 shots a day, and his pancreas still hasn't healed... hasn't gotten worse, just hasn't healed much at all... anyways, he's back in the hospital for the moment to monitor the bleeding, he should be fine, he's just gotta get through these tough times! We all wish him the best, all his friends and family, and we know in the end he will be okay, out of this jungle he's been going through this past month! It's only a matter of time! I'll let you all know on any news of his health for sure, so stop by once in awhile!
3/24/11... So some updates on Wolfman X... apparently he recently had surgery to take his gall bladder out on the 16th of March, and the operation went fine and he's feeling better, but still in the hospital... Wolfman X has lost a lot of weight since January... down to around 200 lbs. from his regular wrestling weight of 250! Wolfman X being skinny?! No way!!! Psycohol has talked to him, and WMX says he definitely misses lifting weights, and would like to eventually get back up to 220-230 lbs. when he is healthy again... but this is a long process, and he is doing pretty good! I will continue to check in on how he's doing and let you guys know any further news!
9/11/11... First off, lets have a moment of silence for the loss of the 2 great towers that fell 10 Years ago, as well as the thousands that died that day, and millions who helped out after September 11th, 2001............ we will never forget that day! On to EWA news... well there really isn't any, but I have talked to Wolfman X recently and he is doing better! He hasn't had any recurring incidents to go back to the hospital in many months, so it seems he is on the right path and almost back to a normal lifestyle after that devastating month or two he went through at the beginning of this year involving his pancreas! We are all so thankful that he's back to himself and I know Psycohol and myself personally can't wait to get home and see him in November, when Psycohol's brother Brian(a.k.a. Robert Lane of the PXW) gets Married to a beautiful Irish/English gal, Katie! Congrats to them! So back to WMX... he still needs to prick his finger before every meal for health reasons, and he still hasn't gained all his weight back, but he is doing awesome! Obviously he cannot wrestle due to this long recovery process... will he ever be able to wrestle again, we don't know.... but I know Wolfman X thinks about that himself and would die to be able to do it again whenever he can! As for a show in November, it's definitely going to be difficult to put one together with WMX, he is the backbone of these things, but you never know, if we find any other wrestlers in the area at the time, there's a possibility for a small show, and WMX would obviously be there in presence, but there are no guarantees this time... it could be the first year since 1999(12 Years) without an EWA Show! That's big! If they somehow manage to squeeze out a show, it will be the 1st One-Show Year! Either way, it looks as if the EWA has come to a halt, but that's okay, EWA is for Life, and even if it goes a year or two without anything, eventually it will be back, but obviously only if Wolfman X is healthy and capable, and let's pray that he get's back to full strength... not so we can have another EWA Show, but for him and his personal health, and his family, and for an end to this bad chapter in his life! Glad you're doing better WMX, see you in November! -Richard
4/20/12... Wow, I truly haven't been on this site in forever, and I don't want to admit this, but almost forgot entirely about it. That's how sad it's become in the backyard wrestling world in these past two years. I mean, it's not sad, everyone from the old EWA and PXW days are doing fine and getting on with their Adult lives, but there is this bittersweet memory of what once was... of what was Never going to die so it seemed.... of course there likely would have been some sort of event this past November when Psycohol was back in NY, but with Wolfman X's surgery and the turn of events that led to that earlier in the year, it was not to be. Who knows when and what the next trip to New York shall hold for Psyco and WMX? Wrestling or not, I guess it depends on their conditions... WMX is almost back to normal and working and living a rather normal life, and we thank the fact that there is no God for that(an atheist way of saying "Thank God")... Psycohol on the other hand is preparing to go back to school once again to Major in some sort of Environmental Science, and will be in Hawaii for his schooling... of course if it hadn't been mentioned on this site before, Psycohol already has a Bachelor's in Studio Art from SUNY Binghamton, in which he was attending during the EWA's 1st 4 Revolutions BACK IN THE DAY! He missed the 1st Revolution mostly due to this college, and then took weekends to travel upstate and wrestle the rest of his college tenure... just a little history for ya, and now he's going back to get a 2nd Bachelor's and possibly more... anyways, that's what's going on here in Hawaii... Mr. Splooge has his own Dojo for Losers in Chinatown, and Mr. Execution started his own Street Brawling School in Kalihi... hopefully all the other guys are doing well back in NY or wherever they may be! And hopefully I'll be back to update once in awhile instead of totally forgetting about this memory-filled website! See you then!4/28/12... I can't believe I'm saying this, but Psycohol's Autobiography is FINALLY caught up to the current date and Complete! He's been catching up with his career ever since he started writing the Autobiography back in the early 2000's or whenever it was, but today he FINALLY completed it and put the finishing touches on it for you all to see! Yeah it's a long read, but if you've already read some of it before, just skip to the end and read some of the more recent stuff... he's informed me that it is by no means DONE, but it is up-to-date! So if shows happen in the future, it'll continue to be updated, but as for now he is done! Good work Psycohol! That is a decent chunk of words you've written down there! Well, no other news right now, but at least something for all you fans to check out! See you next time!
