Final Fantasy Anthology
It is said that Square's Final Fantasy Collection will be released in Japan on March 11, but those getting ready to import the set may want to hold off. It has been revealed that Square will bring this Final Fantasy anthology to the US later this year - a compilation with Final Fantasy V and VI. However Final Fantasy IV from the Nintendo, is included in the Japanese Collection, and will not make it into the Anthology Set that Square EA will release in the US.(FF4 is known in the US as Final Fantasy II on the Super NES.
Squaresoft has confirmed to us that the game is currently being ported and will be released stateside later this year probably near Final Fantasy VIII's US release. The US package will contain both Final Fantasy V and VI (FF VI was released here under the name of FF 3, while FF V has never been seen on these shores). Both games will include the new CG cinemas. It's an RPG gamers dream come true, and I can hardly wait.
