Final Fantasy IX Secrets
Borrowing from Final Fantasy 2, (for the NES, only released in Japan) magic will be based upon and related with different kinds of swords. This seems to add to the thought that this particular Final Fantasy game will take the series back to its roots. Not only will there be a more medieval theme to the game, a variation of the job class system seems to be in use in the game as well.
What seems to be becoming a more interesting game by the minute, Final Fantasy IX is rumored to have a March 2000 release date in Japan, this seems unlikely, but I will keep you posted on the latest news of Final Fantasy IX as it develops.
